I was determined to make something that wasn’t digital and probably shouldn’t have done that while I was also balancing a ton of other work, but WHAT THE HECK they’re done

One of my first custom masks.
The current works in progress. Who would have expected that paper towel and glues would make such sturdy and solid pieces.
All unpainted, yet fully sculpted and realized. Very excited for the next steps on these. If you’re curious about where you’ll see a few of these in the future….. stay tuned.

i took pictures of my process
some blue prints and early concept designs
i made a mini model of it
i made a cage of wire and weaved paper through it, then a couple layers of paper mache
after this i stopped taking photos but it was pretty much just sewing leaves and embroidering beads to everything
