hey so I guess I never made an announcement saying that I was leaving Tumblr which I guess is kind of a good thing because right now I don’t plan on truly leaving?
I’m definitely going to continue taking a break from posting full art pieces. if you want to see me posting those, take a look at my carrd to see my other socials that I am active on
that being said, I think I’m going to be coming back solely for the purpose of continuing the Warriors Files au. I can’t promise how active I will be because I’m busy with school as well, but I’d hate to just leave this au behind because whenever I do work on it I have a lot of fun with it. I’ll be answering asks I get about it (even if infrequently) as well as discussing other ideas regarding it. so I hope you guys are interested in seeing that au continue!

okay so nothing’s set in stone yet but I think I’m gonna open up coms tomorrow. if anyone is interested, here’s the idea:
I’m opening up three slots (for now)
I’m going to specifically be drawing character portraits (being my first time taking commissions I wanna start with something kinda simple)
each character will be $10, meaning if you want two characters it will be $20 (price may change, such as the main price going up and/or the character cost going down, like a general commission being maybe $15 but each additional character will be $5 more. again, this isn’t set in stone!)
this isn’t an official announcement so everything I’ve said is subject to change (even me even generally taking commissions, for some reason I’m a little apprehensive having never done this before) but this is my general idea so far! really I’m just making this post to see if anyone would be interested if I went with this plan
edit: I will be adding rules as well, but they will be very general rules, like yknow, no characters that are depicted in an offensive light or ARE offensive, nothing nsfw, etc etc
heyyy I know I’ve basically abandoned Tumblr but if I temporarily opened up for commissions would anyone be interested?
I don’t even know if my art is just god awful or if I just instantly get shadow banned no matter where I go. no matter what site I’m using, no matter how many followers I have, my posts hardly ever get any attention and it’s exhausting. algorithms just hate me for no goddamned reason and it feels so unfair. I literally can’t post anywhere and have anyone actually see it. Tumblr is the best example of this because of how low of notes I get compared to my following, but it’s far from the only app that’s treating me this way. I’m so tired of it

like I lowkey wanna start posting about my Warrior Cats ocs, and also this one au I can rip with but so far have done nothing with, and also since I have a shitton of time now I should revive the warriors files
on god if commentary videos were my style I’d make an hour long video explaining all the reasons why Happy Feet is a cinematic masterpiece because there’s only one really short essay on the movie despite all the incredible things that can be said about it
I watched it again recently and every time I see it I notice even more things I love about it. the things I love about it include but is not limited to:
- incredible soundtrack both in terms of song numbers and background music
- Mumble has The Design Ever
- the message of protecting our natural environments is important now more than ever
- the message of accepting who you are and that other people should be treated with respect regardless of how different they may be from you or others
- the animation is flawless
- the characters are so well fleshed out and feel organic
- writers taking advantage of the environment of their story as well as the natural habits of animals featured as characters
idc how niche and unpopular Happy Feet is the clear amount of hard work and dedication put into it to make it as glorious of a film as it is is something I will defend to my grave
