I don’t remember if I ever re-shared this illustration since I finished it more than 2 years ago, maybe because I had a hard time with it.
The thing is that after finishing it and after lots of hours of work (as you can guess by the level of detail), I experimented a bit on it and ruined the original piece (maybe some of you remember back then the stories when I messed it up, I almost cried ). I still have it in a binder but it seems unfixable and in no way suitable for selling or having it in an exhibition. So I worked a lot on it, it was one of my best pieces so far, and completly ruined the illustration.
It happens, sometimes you throw away days of work because of an accident or bad time experimentation. Part of the job…
That’s why staring at it gives me a bittersweet taste.

At least I was smart enough to scan the piece before doing the stupid experiment, so even if I never get to sell the original, at least I can make prints and get with them a bit of the time and work earned back.

And not regular prints, since the prints of this piece are limited and all of them have hand-drawn golden ink embellishments added. Hey guys since Halloween is around the corner, I figured I’d make another monster fusion! This one is a fusion between Frankenstein and a Werewolf, I call her The Frankenwolf. I’m really glad on how this piece came out and I really love it, it’s fantastic. And I hope you guys like it too, I may do more but I’m not a hundred percent sure I will still be drawing certain fashion for Halloween in the meantime just enjoy this beautiful Frankenwolf. ✨Work in progress✨I think this piece won’t be finished until the next week, if all goes well Actually I was very unhappy with the first drawing, so I decided to start over, trying to improve the composition, background and the color palette. So far I prefer this version, even if I don’t know exactly were it goes yet. Anyway, meanwhile I decided to share more pictures of the work in progress. ✨Work in progress✨ Actually I started with few lines and a simple idea but then I started to imagine a whole scene. This is a part of the process I really enjoy, this moment when the white sheet seems to reveal a whole hidden world waiting to be discovered; that moment when everything seems possible and stories come to life. ✨ Here I started with red, green and brownish beige lines. Now I have to choose the colors, and there will be a lots of greens Anyway I hope you don’t mind seeing very unfinished drawings. I thought about posting works in progress here more often, especially for this illustration, what do you think ?
