The Soul Harvester

Crawling in places where death has taken its toll on masses of people, the Soul Harvesters can be seen from far, thanks to the dull globe of white light they’re carrying on their back.
Some say these globes are made of the souls of people who suffered a most violent demise, and pretend that if you listen very carefully, you can hear the muffled screams of unrested spirits emanating from them.
Those creatures would probably not notice you, as long as you keep a safe distance from their path. Be wary not to feel too confident when approaching them, as they might swiftly skitter towards you to add your unfortunate being to their grim burden.
I’ve drawn this baby a while ago and couldn’t find time to properly scan it until now. Can’t hide the fact that Bloodborne has been a visual influence on this one.

Monster March 2019 09/31: The Howler
“They’re out there. I can hear the sound of their claws clicking on the floor as they crawl in the hallway.
From time to time, they let a long and loud moan out of the gaping hole their mouth look like. It sounds like some disharmonious mockery of a foghorn.
And their moan seem to respond to one another from different rooms of the abandoned building I’ve locked myself in, like if their were communicating in some twisted way.
I’ve counted at least four or five different sources.
It’s been hours since I’ve been waiting in this room. I can’t stay in here forever, but I’m too scared to go out there and face those creatures. It’s driving me mad and I don’t know how much I can stand of this nightmarish situation.
Maybe if I wait a little longer, they’ll get tired eventually and leave the area, or at the very least fall asleep somewhere. They have to need some rest at some point, don’t they?
Then I may be able to sneak past them and get the hell out of here and find some help.
I wonder how long it would take them to catch me if they ever noticed me.
If it were to happen, I pray for them to end me quickly.”
Yeah, I’ve been playing #re2 lately, and this one looks a lot like a licker, I know.

Those are sighted near hospital dumpsters late at night, burrowing through biological waste to feed on it.
They’re not really aggressive in nature, but due to their feeding habits, their bodies are bloated with various bacterias. You should avoid any physical contact, as their thin skin can easily rupture and their body fluids may prove to be highly toxic to even the strongest of immune systems.

Monster March 2019 06/31: The Wooden Golgoth
Some say that the people who died a violent death in the deep woodlands are bound to have their corpse taken over by the woods themselves.
Their possessed remains, husked within a living armor of wood, vines and fungi, roam the forest and seek the mean-spirited persons who would dare wander too deep.
I am a sucker for details and I enjoyed spending time on that one.
I may not have this kind of luxury in the coming days though, so enjoy this one while you can.

Admodeus is the demon of lust, who appears as a being with three heads - one of a ram, one of a bull & one of a man with fiery breath. The Book of Tobit tells of Asmodeus killing seven men for trying to marry Sarah, who he lusted after, until he was stopped by the angel Raphael. Fuckin creep.

Ipes’ appearance is somewhat chimeric; they have the head & feet of a goose, the body of a lion & the tail of a hare. Ipes is a very powerful demon for one who never gets into battles. Gaap is an incredibly powerful demon, said in the Lesser Key of Solomon as well as the Pseudomonarchia Daemonium to be the guide of the four kings of hell.
