Shine your light for the world to see.” First finished piece of 2019 down. I started on it at the end of last year but because of holiday travel I was finally able to finish it now.

I haven’t been able to get into the studio as much as I would like lately but got some good work in this weekend. I’ve been slowly working on this piece for a few months and I’m finally feeling good about where it’s going. Not even halfway done though.

I recently started using #copicmarkers as an underpainting for a few layers and they are a life and timesaver. This is probably this fastest I’ve done a drawing of this size.
