Ok so, I know fanfiction may not be everyone’s thing, and I promise this won’t happen on this blog very often (or possibly ever again )
But! I wrote a fic about Pepe during his Muppets Tonight days, in which he is dating Seymour, and how that eventually falls apart. And if you’ve been following this blog, you may notice some references to some more obscure canon facts about Pepe that I’ve posted about here.
It’sWhat Do You Get When You Cross an Elephant with a Prawn? And it’s 4,000 words. The only warnings I have are just Pepe being Pepe and making occasional vaguely suggestive remarks, and also there isn’t a happy ending, as you might guess from canon.
Just wanted to throw this out there in case anyone is interested in reading! It’ll be back to your regularly scheduled Pepe posting tomorrow.
But first, I’ll leave you with this quote from Bill Barretta, which convinced me that - contrary to the belief that Pepe just ditched Seymour - if Bill loved him, then Pepe must’ve loved him too:
