So, I decided to revisit this one idea but with changes inspired by @breadstickcat. Darrell/Pidge is a hunter but soon enough finds himself as a witch’s defender. More than that, that witch is his very own sister, Katie, who he didn’t know was a witch until he finds her some years after she ran away.
Instead of Sendak as her familiar, Katie’s familiar is Keith, a shapeshifter who often takes the form of a cat or a wolf; he’s also Katie’s roommate, which Pidge does not approve of.
Anyway, I hope y’all enjoy this piece.

So, thinking with my VLD DP AU, I couldn’t help but imagine Pidge still figuring out her ghost powers. She can turn invisible, but she hadn’t yet figured out projecting that invisibility into what she’s holding. So, trying to sneak past her parents taking a photo (perhaps an anniversary photo or something to show their friends or whatever), she gets caught. Kind of.
Oops.
At least Katie got away with it. And her parents are too excited to notice she’s walking past with one of the cookies she stole.

So.
I wanted some Realities Connected Stoker siblings in VLD armor inspired flight suits. Not just that, I was inspired by a design @t1koy-roll had drawn up before on Discord. So! Here we have them!
I know Darrell is also wearing green, but I was trying to get a shade more from DotU or VF, making it a bit darker than Katie’s. And Chip’s blue comes from his uniform in Vehicle Voltron, making his darker than Lance’s blue armour would be.

It was literally supposed to be 90s art style attempt with Pidge and Matt as rebels. But struggling with a background, @breadstickcat was amazing and suggested a McDonalds background. And you know what? Though I finally figured something out by the time she gave the idea, I had to do it. And with it, I had to ad a second scene of an unfortunate and underpaid (as if that’s not unfortunate enough) employee confused as heck. But. He seems more confused by what a BTS meal is (me too, buddy, me too; the others tell me that BTS is a Kpop group, though) rather than these two orange freckled siblings with pointy ears and calling them “Earthlings”.
Also, who is this fellow?
I was trying to draw Vehicle Voltron’s Zandee using @t1koy-roll’s redesign for him. Poor Zandee, the Garrison doesn’t pay enough so he has to work at McDonalds.

I realized just as I was finishing that the picture I found and used for the background (both photos found on google, so…) isn’t in English. Huh! Okie dokie!

14/12/2018 - One Year since Season 8
I can’t explain how much I miss them.
Maybe this series didn’t have the best finale but the whole journey — the wait for new seasons, getting to know more about the characters each episode, watching the trailers, having to stop mid-episode because I felt way to many things, crying, laughing. The need to hug all of them — Was one of the best things of mY LIFE.
This is going to sound exaggerated but Voltron made an impact in my life and was there for me even in the bad times. These characters were so relatable and made me love them for each one of their qualities.
I want to thank everyone who made Voltron possible and I really hope we could *some day* see more of them.

I really didn’t want to do this, but our financial situation really stinks right now. (´._.`) There are also some revisions I’d like to make moving forward since I need to wait until December to “continue the set”…
