#playbill
Hi there, I’m logging into my tumblr for the first time in AGESSSS to tell ya’ll that I’m selling some of my Playbill collection to make a little extra money during this insane time in which we’re living!
I’ve set up shop mainly on instagram, so go on there and give my new account a follow, @hillsplaybills! I’ll see messages there way faster than I will on here, plus I have pictures posted there of everything I’m currently selling.
Here is the Google doc I’ve created that is my running list of what I have available for sale. This list includes show name, cast, pricing (including US shipping), etc: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/19kup_q2N_AnIvb_EhkkNUpom9ocUVg1Na4XK4ZCXfHk/edit#gid=0
Happy shopping and I hope to hear from some of you soon! :)

Darren Criss Puts His Training to Work
Darren Criss Puts His Training to Work
“When you’re studying theatre on an academic level, American Buffalo simply cannot be avoided. As one of the seminal American plays, specifically if you’re a young dude looking to have a life in the theatre and to work as an actor, it’s a standard.”
The aspiring young dude in this particular instance is Emmy-winning actor Darren Criss, who returns to Broadway this season in the revival of that 1975 David Mamet classic, playing Bobby alongside Laurence Fishburne’s Donny Dubrow and Sam Rockwell’s Teach in the story of three small-time hustlers.
Criss first gained national attention when, in 2010, he joined the cast of the hit musical television series Glee, which followed with a Broadway debut in 2012 for a stint headlining How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. “I never had any idea that I’d have any connection to a life in musical theatre. That would have been absurd to me if you told me that when I was a kid,” he says. “To go back to this is, after all this time, it’s the first time I feel like I’m doing what I did in school.”
“Theatre is one of the only mediums that you can see, and go ‘hopefully one day I can do that.’ And not in the abstract. You know, you see a film and maybe go ‘oh, I’d love to do something like that. I didn’t watch The Godfather as a kid and say ‘I can’t wait for my hand at playing Michael.’ It’s done. But in theatre, with the great classics you can kind of keep it in your back pocket and think ‘one day I’d really love to do my version of this.’ This is a play that I’ve wanted to do for a very long time.”
Add to that costarring along side two actors “whose careers I’ve greatly admired for so long,” “the fact that it’s on Broadway,” and “the fact that it was two years delayed,” and “It’s just a whole ice cream sundae of gratitude and excitement,” says Criss. “I can hardly contain myself.”
American Buffalo runs through July 10 at Circle in the Square Theatre.
It has been one year since Playbill originally posted Andy Mientus & Matt Doyle singing ‘Spring Awakening’ together.
And one year since I captioned it, because they wouldn’t.
Here’s me with Brandon Uranowitz. When I saw Falsettos two years ago, I couldn’t meet Brandon because he didn’t came out the stagedoor that day, but now I did at the The Band’s Visit stage door! He got so happy when I showed him my falsettos playbill and he was even happier to sign it. I love this man so much (as if you didn’t knew by now lol) and also, he is AMAZING as Itzik in The Band’s Visit! If you have the chance to see the show before it closes, go see it!
Me? Loving them? Impossible
*waiting for the pro shot pics of the tour cast so I can finally change my icon*
Well guys, now that tour has started, can someone get me a playbill? I don’t really care from which city, I just need one for my collection. Please and thank you :)
Hi guys!
I have been too inactive and I am so surprised you haven’t un followed me yet lmao. To keep this blog alive, tell me, have you seen the tour? Where? If not, when and where are you planning to see it?
If you want, you can even share pics, of you in the theater, of the playbill, at the stagedoor, anything related!
