Context: Apparently it’s a common fan theory that Ingo and Emmet are German (don’t know where this originated tbh).
There’s a depot agent in the Battle Subway named Furze. And the German word “(der) Furz / furzen” means “(the) fart / to fart”. So yeah. Image the twins’ reaction.

THE INGO SMOOCH I PROMISED.
Ingo deserves all of the smooches, and his cute little balding head is the perfect spot for them. Mwah.
The OC is Steven’s oldest kid from years after the events of ORAS and Platinum. Yes, his name is Ienzo. XD Ienzo prefers dark-type and psychic-type pokemon, hence his outfit.
Ienzo and Amelia probably start their pokemon journey late into their teens, when they’re both like… what? Eighteen and Fifteen?… at the insistence of their parents. They don’t meet Ingo and Emmet until they’re in the twenties and have already travelled through all of Hoenn, Johto, and Kanto. Amelia was originally gonna be paired with N, but now I’m obsessed with the twins so who knows. I might stick her with Emmet instead.
WHICH WOULD ADD MORE ANGST WHEN AMELIA AND INGO GET DROPPED INTO THE PAST MWAHAHAHAHAHA.
Emmet and Ienzo pull a Steven and start conspiracy theory-ing trying to figure out what happened to the two. Amelia freaking just loses her mind when she sees amnesiac Ingo because oh godsit was bad enough she was there, but Ingo is too!? And he remembers nothing?Well, he finds her familiar at least but what the FRICK is happening, yo.
Arceus, pick up the darn pokedex phone- Amelia has questions!

You know. Thinking about Ingo and Emmet, as one does, and- Unova is based off of New York, right???
Pokemon Masters had the perfect opportunity to give our twin bois New York accents and they didn’t take it.

Not gonna lie, the discourse over the concept art of Ingo balding beneath the hat is actually kinda funny.
He’s what- in his early to mid thirties? My older brother is in his late twenties and he has a receding hairline. S’not that weird. Not that bad either. Hell, my big bro is super pretty. I just think the concept art didn’t really do Ingo justice and was really unflattering. ♀️ All the fanart of him with his concept art balding hair is super cute.
Edit:And just think, in a shipping context it’s the perfect spot to place little kisses whenever he takes off his hat. Don’t be cowards. Ingo is adorable.
Don’t make me draw an OC giving him forehead smooches. I’ll freaking do it just to prove my point.

Ingo’s voice lines in Pokémon Masters makes him sound like a dorky dad and Emmett is literally just voiced by Michael J. Tatum, and honestly?? I love that for them.
