Context: Apparently it’s a common fan theory that Ingo and Emmet are German (don’t know where this originated tbh). There’s a depot agent in the Battle Subway named Furze. And the German word “(der) Furz / furzen” means “(the) fart / to fart”. So yeah. Image the twins’ reaction.

Ingo’s voice lines in Pokémon Masters makes him sound like a dorky dad and Emmett is literally just voiced by Michael J. Tatum, and honestly?? I love that for them.

I have a lot of feelings about reunion hugs ok. those hugs that are so emotional you dont even know how to hang onto the other person, or what to say. also i know realistically there’d be a fucking crater where Ingo stood after Emmet came in flying in like that, but we’re here to have fun and cope.
This is fastest I’ve ever churned out a comic, and it was fueled by needing to see Emmet ride on top of a train thats on fire. Fandom said Emmet gets to be unhinged, and i said “say less” lmaoo

Also im enjoying drawing them with shorter hair now (makes sense for their hats tbh)… but i still wanted to keep the little knifey parts up top. ;-; They seem to look equally scrungly no matter the haircut…..
Ingo’s disappearance was pretty freakish, not so much as a clue left behind save for his pokemon. It isn’t until Amelia disappears right from her older brother’s side that Ienzo figures a pokemon might be involved in all this.
Que Ienzo bursting into his father’s office demanding where Celebi’s flute is. Celebi exists all throughout time after all- surely they have to know where at least Ingo and Amelia are in the world. Right? He needs his mother’s Gallade or Jessie and James’ Meowth to act as a translator however, seeing as Ienzo and Emmet don’t speak pokemon.
Not illustrated is Emmet and Ienzo wrecking havoc to find their siblings in the past and Ienzo freaking out seeing Daigo- who is the younger yet spitting image of their father, Steven, and as a result- the spitting image of Ienzo as well.
