I don’t think I would be a true Canadian if I didn’t dearly love Anne of Green Gables. And if you know Anne too, you know how much she loves puffed sleeves. Ringing in the new year, with a fresh slate, with this mini painting I made for my best Bosom Friend for Christmas.

This very early sportswear sweater combines the aesthetics of fashionable dress through its large gigot sleeves and overall silhouette with the informal sportiness inherent in any knit fabric.
