okay but you know how Azriel was bragging to Cassian how he finds lovers really easily and doesn’t have to sprout poetry to get someone in bed with him? Imagine Gwyn doubting if Azriel actually loves her because of his past obsessions and the necklace re gift (I don’t actually think she’ll be mad more so just disappointed), so then to prove he is serious about them Azriel legit writes a crap ton of poetry and has like, an emotional angsty love confession through a poem.
I love this because I love the idea of Azriel actually talking to Gwyn and giving her his words. He’s so reserved and keeps his thoughts to himself, so I think it will be a huge thing for him to finally have that one person that he just lets go with. Someone who he just tells everything and I just love that.
Azriel: I’m very upset and there’s nothing that will make me feel better.
Cassian:
Azriel: No.
Cassian:
Azriel: Don’t.
Cassian: *brings Gwyn into the room*
