I think I love drawing clothes more than sewing them XD, but only by a little. I can certainly be more imaginative in my drawings. Since I design a lot of my patterns for fabric I decided to start drawing them on clothing! (And no outfit is complete without accessories so I had to include those as well)

Another entry in my Botanical Dictionary: Blue Bells.

I started a Botanical Dictionary in my new sketchbook :) I’ll be drawing all sorts of flowers, leaves, plants etc. First up: a pretty little peony. 

On a journey to formulate a signature style for my patterns. For my illustrations I certainly have am ever changing style because I love to experiment. One thing is for certain, I love florals.

And done! Here is what that sketch from yesterday turned into :) I love how it turned out! I could see this on wallpaper, giftwrap, curtains etc. Excited to share more patterns soon.

A Look Inside :) This is step one: Drawing. I’ll be using this beauty to create a surface pattern design. Patterns have always been a part of life since I was a little kid, and it’s an absolute joy to create them. Can’t wait to see where this goes! 

I use a lot of different books for different things, I decided to use this one for my current venture. Chicken scratch ideas, doodles, fully detailed sketches, dreams, etc. it’s all in here! I hand made this one, from the binding to the illustration on the cover :)

 I’ll be sharing a glimpse of what happens inside these pages.
