LIVE

The Cowgirls who even get the blues are lesbians.  Specifically, lesbians who hang out at the Rubber Rose Ranch and take peyote, have lots of sex, and don’t wash their vaginas.  Really.  That last one is even a plot point.  The leader of the Cowgirls is Bonanza Jellybean.  As the head lesbian in this movie, Bonanza meets the end that most lesbians in the movies do, but not before she gets involved with the movie’s bisexual protagonist, Sissy Hankshaw.  And certainly not before she uses her unwashed vagina as warfare.  Again: really.

“River. Brother. Inspiration. Best Friend. I can’t believe it’s been 28 years… The light in your eyes light the stars.”

“On the death of a friend, we should consider that the fates through confidence have devolved on us the task of a double living, that we have henceforth to fulfill the promise of our friend’s life also, in our own, to the world.” Henry David Thoreau
