[“Damn, the alpha’s quick!” I thought.]

“Oh, er, no, I mean, only when my wife’s out of town…” I stumbled, desperately but feebly trying to match her razor sharp wit.

“Well my husband is too, so we just about have something in common…which is more than I have with him. Jump in then - you look like you need a ride.”
