#real problems
Got this report about @the-neuromancer . The boundary violation occured during a phone call, but is referenced in the attached screenshots.
The survivor indicated that she specifically informed him prior to any trances that she wasn’t interested in memory play. He professed a commitment to safety on their first two calls. But, on their third call, she was repeatedly fractionated and then he moved into trying to alter her memories and build connections. He indicated that he was trying to do an amnesia trigger in DIRECT conflict with her stated goals prior to trance. When she brought herself up through her own methods, she confronted him on it and he claimed that it was a “accident.” But, it was clearly no accident.
This is a boundary violation that could easily lead to even more abusive behaviors.
I’d like to applaud @peachybruised here for their handling of things, giving themselves some time to think about how to respond and establishing their boundaries (both initially and in saying goodbye) very clearly. Not that it is bad to be emotional when someone has harmed you, because you absolutely have every right to feel some kind of way, but some manipulators will use a clearly emotional response against the victim. It’s a lot harder to manipulate such clear lines.

I have a fair bit to say about this, but first an aside. It’s funny - not ha-ha funny; sad-clown funny - but a few hours ago I received an anon ask that was, I’m reasonably certain, about this. It mentioned “Jack” and “a consensual relationship” and derisively called me forth to go be a quixotic White Knight in a clear attempt to set the terms of the conversation from the beginning. I blocked the sender so I don’t have the ask any more. It was also just another in the “White Knight” series I have been receiving for some time, so it’s nothing worth reading… but the fact someone proactively sent me an anon about this makes me think someone cares a whole heck of a lot about it. I was wondering who “Jack” was for a while there, so I guess now I have my answer. Anyway…

Anyway after a few years of thinking I had bone spurs or arthritis in both wrists because of what a doctor had said in the past and a history of bike wrecks, I learned I have some weird peanut shaped wrist bones and a big ol’ ganglion cyst in my left wrist. Still have to decide on surgery for it.
