I love how often the plot of a Star Wars Rebels episode is, “We’re stopping for gas and we will almost certainly nearly die trying”

“I’m worried about ahsokas story being worn out too…”

I agree with your critique about her arc and casting. But the Ahsoka book is actually set a year after Order 66, not before. It has a fair bit of introspection on Ahsoka’s character worth checking out.

Ah thank you for clearing that up for me i may listen to an audio book or just a reading of it since i have A LOT of reading t do for class.

I’m worried about ahsokas story being worn out too and ending up like a tv show that’s gone on for to many seasons but I also feel like her story has hinged on to many outside factors and that she hasn’t bin given the opertunity to have her own story centered around herself. She started out as THE anakin skywalkers padawan, living as a Jedi, wrongfully expelled, assisting in the rebellion and creating the identity of fulcrum, and then she’s send on a mission with Sabine to find Ezra. I haven’t read her book but from what I know it’s about her between the expulsion and the fight on mandolor against maul. Her only time she has been doing things for herself was in that very small time frame in the ahsoka book and the walkabout arc in the 7 season. Ahsoka does need her own show but it shouldn’t be what replaces and stands in for the rebels sequel series, and it definitely shouldn’t be in live action played by a violent transphobe. Ahsoka was created and intended for animation I feel like is plenty clear from her appearance in the mandolorian that if that’s the best they can do and her horns and lekku have to be compromised for the stunts then she shouldn’t be in live action until they can figure out a way to keep her cannon appearence and still do the stunts they want.

It’s not an Empire Strikes Back level twist, but the report that Ahsokawill now serve as what was once an animated sequel toStar Wars Rebels is a surprise to all.

Kessel Run Transmissions is reporting that the plot of Ahsoka is the search for Ezra Bridger:

“The plot of Ahsoka is the search for Ezra Bridger… Ezra and Thrawn."

Ahsoka will be re-purposing scripts written specifically for the animated Rebels sequel:

"The Ahsoka series is literally taking the scripts from the Rebels sequel into her series."

As the Rebels epilogue suggests, Sabine Wren will be a recurring character in the series:

"We’re going to be seeing Sabine in live-action, she’s going to be co-starring alongside Ahsoka… originally the Rebels sequel was going to be starring Ahsoka and Sabine, so it makes sense that the Ahsoka series would be the same thing."

The Ahsoka series itself will also lead to more stories, but will be what the sequel was always meant to be:

”[The Ahsoka series] will lead into spin-offs like an Ezra and Thrawn show. Ahsoka will be the story that the successor was supposed to be.“

I honestly don’t understand how people can say adult clone wars ahsoka looks like shaak ti when they look nothing alike especially if you look at their model sheets.

One thing I can say is that in the Mortis arc, Ahsoka has a conversation with an older version of herself. This older version is created by the place, or by the brother, I wasn’t ever sure, but it was an “ideal” version of Ahsoka, which had the bone and lekku structure of Shaak Ti. I think it was what Ahsoka unconsciously thought was an “ideal” version of herself, that she based off of another Togrutan Jedi. Ti is wonderful, she’s very beautiful and powerful, and she’s on the Jedi Counci—I could feasibly see a teenage Ahsoka looking up to her.

Just look at the indentions in both of their lekku! Moreover, vision!Ahsoka’s stripes look like Ti’s, and when know they become more tiger stripe like than cheveron.

I kinda got sidetracked, but what I’m saying is, that if someone didn’t watch Rebels and thus didn’t really know/accept what adult Ahsoka canonly looks like, I can understand them thinking that the vision Ahsoka saw on Mortis was supposed to be how she’d look in the future.

now see i could beleive that if we ever saw Ahsoka interacting or even near  Shaak Ti but we dont even get an episode or even a naration oof the two interacting. i do think the Ahsoka illusion was a real version of Ahsoka the way the Qui-Gon aperision was real. If she had asked for a different master imediatly after Mortis or more specifically if she was assigned as Obi-wans padawan i think that is what she had the potential to become. but back onto the mater at hand.

i will agree with you on the fact that the tips of their Montral and the tips of their front Lekku pattern wise look the same, but the back and middle of Ahsoka’s Lekku are completely different from Shaak Ti’s as seen in the profile right images. the only difference in horn shape is the tips of Shaak Ti’s curve outwards similar to bike handles.

PROFILE LEFT:

image

its most noticeable in the profile view that the horns are different with Ahsoka’s being more vertical and only slightly curved, and Shaak Ti’s being at a much more significant slope and being much thicker compared to Ahsoka’s especially closer to the skull.

BACK:

image

again shape is very similar but pattern wise they are very different.  Shaak Ti’s patterning it much more horizontal and from the looks of it they are all equally spaced out. the top of Ahsokas horn patterning is curved towards to tip od her horns, while the ones on her Lekku are curved down and spaced out more then the ones on her horns.

PROFILE RIGHT:

Their back Lek are significantly different especially the patterning and Ahsokas front Lekku are longer then her back where as Shaak Ti is about equal in length.

compared to her “Potential” self and the model they chose to go with for rebeles you could honeltly think it was a different character all together if the facial markings were different. there is literally nothing i can say to compare the two in a detailed manner the way i did above. they are…just so different.

(wow it took me a long time to respond how fast a year goes by and this is just a fun analyst no intent for an argument.)
