Laguna de Apoyo, Nicaragua. We drove down to the fresh water lake which sits in the crater of an extinct volcano. It was quiet, light rain, no one around except some locals fishing off floating logs. 

The water was completely clear and we were so content we could have stayed there for hours.

I’m not disappointed because I know we have a #great #generation of #young #people who #care, and who are not afraid to get #depressed and to #reflect. As far as #Greeks are concerned though, they #tend to #believe something is #good only when referring to a first track table, when exploiting a recognizable tv #personality or bursting to laughter with online tall hulking courtesans who make sexist #dialogues. As commonly said, #zero in the #quotient !

‘Tila’ Chair by Shepherd Studio,

Hand-finished and composed of 210 stainless steel spheres, Tila Chair’s design borrows its conceptual and aesthetic language from the traditional folk game of Tila, combining the communal nature of the game and its components as a metaphor for density. 

The array of entwined spheres shape the skin of the object, coupled by tubular profiles which creates its anatomy. Its chrome finish is intended to complement and reflect its context and surroundings.

Today I choose to drop a toxic pattern that has chronically plagued my body for most of my life. This pattern is a result of something that I feel I’ve been carrying within my gut for generations. The moment I decided to own my power as a shaman and take a plunge back into Tantra, I knew I would have to face some very difficult traumas. And this is one of them. GUILT. Deep seeded, generational GUILT. I’ve held this energy in my gut for so long, and despite doctors telling me over and over again that my gut was fine and they didn’t see any issues, I’ve had a lifelong battle with constipation and anorexia. When you can’t go to the bathroom, you don’t want to eat. And that pattern takes a toll on you mentally, physically and energetically. I’ve tried so many beneficial diets: vegan, pescatarian (my fav), vegetarian, now KETO. All have helped my physical body eliminate waste, but energetically there’s always been a block. I’m grateful for the healers that have been helping me overcome this cycle through assisting me with energy work. Whether you know it or not, our work together has aided in my forgiveness of something that feels ancestral and ancient. Thank you for helping me get to this point.
