#reminder
Hey guys!
Kaizu and I will be participating in the Etsy strike coming up from April 11th to the 18th!
Our shop will be put on vacation mode so sales will not be possible.
The Etsy strike is to protest the recent increase in fees. Etsy has announced record profits but still increased fees by 30% and have over the last few years been making the site inhospitable to small creators.
Please help support this strike by not buying anything from Etsy during the week of April 11th.
Thank you!
Please spread the word if you can! Crim and I are putting our shop on hiatus— and if you’re a creator on Etsy, and can afford to do so, we hope you do the same!

Our shops will also be closed for that week.” end ID]
Needing help and asking for it is nothing to be ashamed of, You deserve the help that you need.
it’s difficult, but at some point, we’re all gonna have to learn that in order to succeed, we gotta keep trying. so stop being angry at yourself failing at new things, because failing is normal. rome wasn’t built in a day, y’all.
I dont know who needs to hear this but if your hobby starts to not be fun, put it down. It’s a hobby, not a full time job or something, don’t burn yourself out on something that should be entertaining. Physically can’t bring yourself to draw? Put it down. Bored with a crochet project? Put it down. Dropped stitches while knitting and filled with rage? Put it down. It’ll come back to you
Everything is aligning in your favor.
Trust the process.

Etsy Strike April 11-18, 2022
- the time you take being jealous of other people’s success is the time you could be using to build your own
- you’re never going to “feel like it”
- doing and practicing now is better than waiting for the perfect moment
- eliminate people with toxic habits from your life
- you are in control. Everything you’ve done up to this moment led you here. Therefore, your future is determined by what you do now.
- everything is as it should be and only later in life you can connect the dots.
- self discipline will give you freedom. consistency will give you results
- everything is temporary. You should find freedom in this concept
- the rich stay rich acting poor and the poor stay poor acting rich
- being healthy means finding a balance between the good and the bad
- the people that outranked you have outworked you.
- you can’t be grateful and negative at the same time.
Meditate on these statements. They are so very powerful! Xxx
Sleep, eat and breathe.
Prioritize, break down tasks, and go a step at a time.
You can do this!
Grades do not define you!
Try your best, that is all that matters!
You can do this!
Ask teachers and others for help if you need it.
It’s okay to not know everything!
You can do this!
- it’s ok if you accomplish things “more slowly” than other people
- it’s ok if you find difficulty in what others consider “easy”
- it’s ok if you fall behind, you will still reach your destination
- it’s ok to take life at your own pace
UPDATE
follow me on twitter! i’ll be posting all of my nsfw art there from now on.

5 methods to start doing things
If you procrastinate or get stressed when you need to do something, here you have some suggestions.
5 seconds rule
Count to 5 and go and do it. In this way you don’t overthink anything and you can’t “postpone” the tasks.
Ignore it
If you tell yourself that you can’t, you aren’t good enough, you never did it so why now? etc. distract yourself. At the first word/sentence from a negative statement/idea, tap your fingers on a flat surface, play with your bracelet, do some multiplications in you mind etc. just find something to make yourself stop thinking negatively.
Have a trigger
If you wear a certain bracelet, ring, shoes etc. make that your trigger to do stuff. You wear your silver ring? Time to study/work while you wear it. Don’t use/wear that thing in other circumstances.
Use the past
If you don’t get depressed by past failures, think of the biggest 2-3 moments when you failed something you really wanted to achieve or if you’re the kind of person who never failed, think of the first time when you did.
These memories tend to be painful but if you hate that feeling when you fail, it can e motivating to go and do stuff, you don’t want the story to repeat itself again after all.
Announce your goals
This might not always work so i left it at the end. If you are a proud person and you announce the goal to many people, you will feel like you are being judged if you fail so many people achieve whatever they want because they made it “official” by announcing it.
Please don’t work too hard on your target languages. Don’t study so hard you don’t have time to sleep, eat, socialize, relax, and live your life. Being happy and healthy is much more important than becoming the next hyperpolyglot.
