Hey. Me and two other interns are looking for somewhere to live near the Amazon Robotics campus in Westborough and none of us know the area. None of us have cars. None of us know the area. We’re only there for the summer. The options seem downright dire in the town of Westborough, is there anywhere nearby that has anything to rent with a commute of 1-1.5 hours?

With no address on the sticker, I figured I would be in trouble looking for this place on the internet. There were at least two different store called Captain Video.
The one in Toronto, Canada is now a Payless For Everything. But low and behold, the one in San Mateo, CA is still open! Although, I don’t think it’s a rental store anymore. Somebody make a T-shirt of that awesome Captain Video logo.

Videosmith was once located in this building. Where, exactly? I’m not sure. It was voted Boston’s Best Video Rental in 1984.

It sounds like Roadrunner Video had a few locations in the Louisville, KY area. But I can’t seem to hunt down that address. Some kind Samaritan posted a commercial on Youtube.

Video Encore existed where Pink & White Nails is now. It’s actually a pretty cool strip mall. There’s a coffee shop called Old Crown that also has pinball, an “oddities” store, and a “jam studio” my friend David rented out as a teenager so he and his friends could play music together without getting noise complaints.

Video X Tron existed in Boca Raton, FL. They were bought out by Blockbuster in 1990. Here’s an article.

Another one with an extremely generic name with an address that’s hard to track down. If you do a G-search on Bowdon, GA you will see a lot of photos of abandoned looking buildings.

I spent a good while trying to find out where this place was. The street has been renamed. From what I gathered, Ozark is a small city. Video Venture was somewhere in the square.

I believe that CVS bought out most of the Longs Drugs. I tried to find a Long’s commercial advertising video rental but couldn’t find one. Maybe you can?

Lots of overhauled strip mall recently.
This tape has a Video Knights sticker covered by a Roadrunner Video sticker, that is partially covered by a Plan 9 Video sticker (Now Vulture Video).

Videoworks, from what I gathered was a chain of video stores owned by American Audio Video who is still kickin’ today.
This tape didn’t have an address. But I found two locations in Bardstown, KY and Bensalem, PA.
Now this is VIDEOWORKS - all one word. Which is not to be confused with VIDEO WORKS in BC.
