Fun fact:

Many know of the silly NPC New Vegas called “Trash.” Some might not know she is a reference to an interesting character from the infamously fun “Return of the Living Dead.” (One of my favorite films.)

Upon finding Trash in the game, she’s dead. This is unavoidable. Upon exploring the abandoned shack one finds her corpse in, it becomes apparent that she was trying to start the process of ghoulification. She has three “die-aries” that tell the story.

Trash in her living glory (via resurrect):

Trash in Return of the Living Dead:

Trash of Return of the Living Dead had a fear that rotting old men would eat her alive. This is of course how she died… Rotting zombfied corpses gnawing at her in a graveyard. How beautiful that in NV history would repeat itself in a twisted way, as she dies trying to becomea rotting “zombie.”
