“After dinner my kids asked me where I was going. I told them there is this awards gala where I could win a prize. Then they said: ‘But isn’t Rafa number 1?!’”—
Roger Federer
It begins…the highs and lows of the final Grand Slam of the season ❤️- first time the legendary ‘Big Four’ have played the same Grand Slam since 2015
I love two players and their beautiful smiles around each other <3
Hi! I haven’t been so active on here lately, but I have a very good reason:
I attended Halle for and to my complete joy I was able to see Roger hold the trophy in front of my eyes. To see him play on grass in person for the first time was just like magic - his liquid footwork, his touch, the way he constructs points like no other can - to me it is incomparable to all else you can witness in tennis.
That is why it brings me even more joy to share that I will be attending Wimbledon this year for the first time.
Since I first started following tennis it has been a far fetched dream of mine to make it here, and tomorrow I finally will. Until now I have only imagined that walking through those AELTC doors must be the living equivalent to entering the pearly gates.
So for now, I’ll say bye but I will try my best to keep updates about my experience frequent. For more you can see my other social media accounts:
