From 11/8 to 11/13 the official Asteria twitter will reveal the characters that will be featured in the second Idolmaster SideM collaboration gacha.
The fourth to be revealed is Rokurou! He will come as 5☆ Bond Awakening character.

Inktober 2019 Days 8-14
:’D Sadly, this is as far as I got into Inktober this year. For the record, this is the farthest I’ve ever lasted in one, so I’m very proud of myself for that.

Day 8: Frail
The Noragami AU nobody wanted or asked for. Eizen is a god of misfortune who’s perpetually done with everything. Rokurou’s a wandering spirit who’s been taken in and discarded by gods left and right for one reason or another. Eizen is the sixth god who’s named him this year, hence the unimaginative name of ‘Mutsu’. Eizen’s preferred suffix is -mi, making Rokurou’s name ‘Mutsumi’. As a weapon, his name is ‘Rokki’. We imagine he becomes a full ensemble shinki, with some flavor of kimono and shifting weaponry. qwq there’s way more to this AU but uhh that’s for another time. One thing I realized after I drew this was I used the wrong kanji - Noragami is fancy and uses an older/sealed script style of writing for their names, so Roku’s kanji should look more like
Ah well. If I ever expand on this AU, I’ll correct it. XD
Day 9: Swing
A play on how the whole party (but especially Roku, it’s p much canon with him) rocks the bi/pan energy. For the record, EiRokuMagi is a severely underappreciated OT3. Also, swing dancing. Cute clothes, cute clothes, cute clothes.
Day 10: Pattern
Soulmate AU. Was just gonna be simple names on hands, but I wanted to give Roku more tattoos-in-place-of-daemon-markings, so now it’s Complicated. In this universe, if you have a soulmate, their name appears when you turn 16. When Rokurou gets his, he’s so enamored by the idea that he has one that he adds more and more ink every year as a way to show his growing love. Eventually, he’ll get the rest of his sleeve filled in. In Eizen’s case, he had a rough teenage life, getting in fights regularly and being a not so great kid. When Rokurou’s name appears on his hand, already warped and scarred from his outings on the street, it gives him an epiphany of sorts, and he uses the name as a way to recenter and meditate on his life and clean up his act. He doesn’t start out fluent in Japanese, and honestly still isn’t. He gets the katakana reading of the name tattooed on his fingers to help him read it.
Day 11: Snow
I already did something in the snow, so instead I drew a cute date where Eizen and Roku get some shaved snow. It’s ube flavor.
Day 12: Dragon

Day 13: Ash
The Rokurou we know and love was reborn out of the ashes of his way edgier concept art. But man. What could have been, ya know?
Day 14: Overgrown
[cries in spoilers x2] I think about postgame Roku a lot ok. It’s up in the air how long he lives, so who knows, maybe he outlives the whole party and beyond, all the way through Zesty. That’s a pretty lonely existence, I’d think. Not that Roku can feel the full weight of that loneliness. He always makes a point to visit Eizen and pour one out for him, at least.

Inktober 2019 Days 1-7

Day 1: Ring
They’re married. Sorry I don’t make the rules.
Day 2: Mindless
The fastest way to make me into a pile of goo is to play with my hair. Rokurou is the same way, probably. /shrug
Day 3: Bait
Gay fishing aboard the Van Smalltia (name courtesy of @thatisntscience. He better finish the fic it gets used in, because I am never getting over the Van Smalltia, and I need everyone else to know about the wonders that is the Van Smalltia).
Day 4: Freeze
I can’t imagine a gayer date than being cozy out in the cold while watching the aurora in the most aesthetic town in the whole game. I’m sure there was an equally gay hot springs adventure afterwards. :3c
Day 5: Build
Accidental android AU. Eizen winds up working as a higher up in a government facility specifically to be a mole and sell the lab’s secrets to a rival facility/country/faction, but oops he fell in love with the company experiment somewhere along the way and now there’s Conflict.
Day 6: Husky
When ya boy drops the voice down low. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Day 7: Enchanted
So there’s a mythological hybrid AU I made art and notes for forever ago. Uhhh, basically, Rokurou is a centaur, only instead of a horse, he’s mixed with parts of a kirin and an ibex. Eizen is a merman inspired off of a leafy sea dragon and a threadfin dragonfish. I have scads of notes and ideas for the rest of the party, but I’ve only really mocked up concept art for these two. I should probably post that at some point. :’D
