This is a meet-and-greet style event where we will host games, eat great food, and otherwise just get together and enjoy a fintastic time at the beach! While a rather simple event, it’s designed around not being too overwhelming for new and old roleplayers, alike! We hope to see you there.

Beach Ball! Beach Ball requires at least six people to play. The six members will form into groups of three (or split evenly regardless of higher number). One person in each group will roll. The person with the highest roll means their character’s group will go first. Standing on opposite sides of one another, the starting group will toss the ball into the air (the person who rolled for initiative starts). This game has an assortment of simple, Grindstone-style rules that will be gone over when the game begins!
Hot Lips! Test your mettle against some of the hottest peppers known to Eorzea! The infamous “Azeyma’s Pepper,” is placed into a chocolate that looks identical to its non-spiced brethren. Whoever eats a hellish treat is out! The rounds continue until there is only one person left without their mouth being set aflame or everyone has been defeated by the fates. This is a simple game of RNG that has an assortment of adverse affects based on the number you roll! Winners of this game will earn the bragging title, ‘The Firetongue,’ and 500,000g!
0 - 100: Your character ate the chocolate pepper. They are now temporarily unconscious. RIP.
101 - 200: Your character ate the chocolate pepper. Their stomach is purging itself.
201 - 300: Your character ate the chocolate pepper. It’s very hard to breathe.
301 - 400: Your character ate the chocolate pepper. They are tense. They may need some milk. Stat!
401 - 500: Your character ate the chocolate pepper. Is it hot or is it just them? Milk please!
501 - 600: Your character ate the chocolate pepper. Surprisingly, they seem well adapted!
601 - 999: Your character did not eat the chocolate pepper. Congratulations, you get to do it all over again! *If you happen to roll a 666, your character bites into a chocolate with a small bomb (the creature). They breathe fire when they try to talk for two rounds. But hey, they get to continue forward!
Swimsuit Contest! Are you wearing this season’s hottest fashion? Well, put yourself forward against your peers to be judged! Contestants will be judged on creativity, aesthetic, and functionality. Each category will be rated 1-10 and the fashionista with the highest score will win the bragging title, ‘Beach Babe,’ with a 500,000gprize!
Picture Perfect! We’re going to have photographers going around this event and taking pictures of those in attendance! Want a photo keepsake? Reach out to one of our photographers to make sure you and yours have this memory captured forever! Remember to consider tipping your photographer!
Surf’s Up! A stripped down version of our much larger event, Surf’s Up is friendly towards beginners and advanced surfers! Rent a surfboard for 5,000g and hit up our spotter, Tsustai Monsaran, for rules and some summertime surfing!
Duty Roulette: LFRP! Duty Roulette: LFRP is a randomized RP experience. If you’re someone who is shy, has difficulties with walk-up, or is just looking to build some new connections this might be the experience for you! Hey! We hope everyone had a great time at Prom 2021 last weekend, ‘cause we certainly did. As the furor dies down and the last of the confetti is swept up from the Snail by a small army of extremely well-paid Idyllshire goblins (because Event Coordinator Rastirah is technically still the janitor and she isn’t sweeping shit if she has access to the expense account), we’d like to thank everyone who showed up for being just absolutely amazing and say we’re looking forward to doing it again next year!

The Fated Feast is set to bring together clans, tribes and other curious souls together to mark the end of a long winter with celebration.
Everyone is encouraged to bring a dish which means something to their culture, history or is important to them in some way.
When arriving at the event, people will bring their dishes to a main table and introduce the dish to the rest of the assembly along with it’s significance. From there, everyone can sample food till they burst, mingle and make new acquaintances.

It is that time a year again when houses inside of Ishgard and out find invitations slipped under doors and left with retainers. House Silmontaix once again will open its doors and the social event of the season begins. Come dressed in your finest, bring your antidote just in case, and come on up to Ishgard* to be transported into a magical night of dance and fun. All for charity, of course.
A private social and academic establishment catering to discerning gentlepersons of like mind and philosophy, The Grand Cross free company opens their doors at The Stellium in less than a fortnight to one and all for an evening of spoken poetry. Join us in performing, and encourage and cultivate the art of poetry in our very own club, gathering with unknown talents spanning Eorzea and beyond!
Refreshments, both alcoholic and otherwise, are provided free of charge this night by the owners of The Stellium in celebration of their first ever public event. NPC bartenders will be available for your own personal brand of roleplaying enjoyment.
This is an adult event; however for the sake of propriety, please refrain from any excess, overtly gratuitous language or themes. R-rated is appropriate, X-rated is decidedly not. Remember to give your fellow performers the same level of respect and quiet you would require for yourself. Hecklers and rabble-rousers will be duly ejected.
During your visit, feel free to explore the club, upstairs and down, inside and out. Various rooms are available for your enjoyment, including but not limited to Le Salon De The teahouse, a large reference library, and The Stranger’s Room lounge. Anyone wearing a “Looking To Meld” icon above their head belongs to The Grand Cross and can be queried for further information.
Sign-ups for performances begin in-game at 6:30pm just inside the club. Earlier sign-ups can be done by contacting Charlemont Mercaiges, Raven Alderscorn, or Corwynn Grey in game, or by messaging Char#6733 on Discord.

Starting Saturday, July 25th, Sonja Rysti’s art Gallery will be open for public and private viewings! The artist himself will be there on Saturday starting at 2 PM Pacific, on Monday the 27th at 2 PM Pacific, Friday the 31st at 2 PM pacific, and Saturday August 1st at 2PM Pacific - but feel free to come in at any time to see the art or just relax!

Sign Ups
Show up to the location to sign-up. There won’t be ANY reserved spots ahead of time. Sign-ups will be done between fights, first fight sign up will be at 6pm ST characters who loiter around the sign up desk before sign ups are even announced will be turned away when sign ups are opened.
People who have not participated before will be granted priority over those who have.
Fights
Fights will start at 6:35 to give viewers time to get drinks/seats and the fighters time to get ready.
Duel Rules
The winner of a duel is determined by who is the first to land 3 hits on their opponent. The hits are determined using rolls in party chat to keep them hidden from the audience - a member of staff will add participants to the party before the fight.
The duelists will first roll initiative
The fighter with the higher initiative will then go on to roll attack while their opponent rolls defence
They will emote accordingly using /shout, the host will provide commentary using /yell, and the cycle will begin again, this time with the fighter who rolled the lower initiative rolling attack. So on and so forth
When the 3rd hit is landed, the victor will be declared.
0’s in the dice rolls are counted as 1000
(The duels are meant for good sport and entertainment. Thanks to the shielding system surrounding the stage no fatal or measurable injury will be sustained during the course of the fight.)
