i had to get my beloved tummy moles removed last month so i gave them to hamid as consolation

some months ago i felt inexplicably compelled to draw these nerds as greasers so here they are? zolf was there too but i messed him up big time, rip.

i never shared this other little doodle of hamid and his overprotective flygon here, so here they are i haven’t decided ona name for her yet but i’m sure hamid just calls her variations of darling, princess, love, etc. i’m not satisfied with this sketch cause it didn’t end up looking as comfy as i wanted, but it’s still cute.

 surprise! i drew @evieebun125 ′s hamid together with mine!! frankly because i decided we deserved it, and because whenever they post new art i go Hogwild about their GENIUS outfit design skills. look at these two. they’d be unbeareable together, but at least they would have a blast. i think. 

 anyway, i had been genuinely itching to draw eviee’s hamid because i was dying to try and follow in her design and style, and seeing both designs side by side is the coolest shit. reminds me why i love art and why i love podcast fanart specifically. hope you like our distinguished little rascals! i think these came out really nice ♥

galaxy’s hamid, on the right, is stepping casually forward with a smug-looking smile, right arm around his double as he looks back at him, and has his left hand on his pocket. he’s dressed in a black suit, with a green vest that has a shining pattern on scales all over it, and black shoes with white spats. his sleeves of many garments are a shiny mauve color and have yellow diamond-shaped cufflinks. he’s fatter, with full cheeks and slightly shorter legs. his skin is dark brown, his hair darker, curly and slicked back. there are two short curls loose on either side of his forehead. his eyeshadow and lipstick are gold, and has less scales on his face but they’ve got more volume to them. he has dark freckles, short sideburns and stubble on his chin. his mauve button-up is has a red cravat tied around the collar, with a green gem keeping it in place. his cape is a reddish-purple, with spiky and curling gold patterns around the edges, the long fall fluttering at the end behind him. the upper section reaches down to his chest and has a vertical parting towards the shoulders, leaving a second layer visible. it is held together by two slim golden chains below his collar. his wind is slimmer and dark-orange, with shining scales on the yellow membranes.
the second image, which is a little more sketchy and drawn and colored with a rougher texture, shows the same hamids making a heart with their hands. galaxy’s hamid is to the left and eviee’s to the right, cheek to cheek and smiling. this time, galaxy’s has a more wide-eyed, joyful smile, and eviee’s sports a lopsided grin and a wink. his chain and dangling pink heart earrings are visible now. their hands are joined at the middle, just below their smiles. the hand to the left has gold-painted claws and the one in the right has them painted green. there is a purple heart drawn there between their hands, and the background is a blurry pattern of yellow and orange scales. end ID]

a pick-me-up…

 and for the last part (5/5) of my rqg end party doodle dump… these slightly more canon-oriented things! the first one is the first ever thing i ever drew for the campaign… and the silhouettes from the end i sketched a week or so ago. they won’t be gone, but, my world. what a ride. what incredible amounts of love. it’s been an honor, you all ♥

part 3 of my rqg end party doodle dump! all hamid and zolf and, for the same reason, mostly eots. i never shared these because i’d get embarrassed at the thought, but considering the love with which rqg has made me want to draw and write for such a sustained amount of time, that might be a silly thing to think. the order’s all scrambled here, though, but i think it’s fun to see how the designs and anatomy have changed…

part 2 out of 5 of my rqg end party doodle dump, something i like to call Oops! All Hamid!

since the order’s all messed up it’s hilarious to see the designs clashing. it actually took me a while to find a way in which i felt like i was really connecting with his character, which was pretty frustrating since he’s my favorite, but i eventually got there, and just adore where his design is now.

it’s the perfect moment to confess that i’m a very simple person. i started listening to rqg on ep 0, coming fresh from tma, and was very confused about everything, but then they started introducing their characters and bryn said ‘’okay so mine’s really hot-’’ and i *instantly* said ‘’that one. that one’s my favorite’’. and the rest, as they say, is history. or brand loyalty. i’m not sure. either way, enjoy! these are mostly things i sneaked in between work or right before shifts were over. loose sketching can be very fun and telling.

 for this momentous day just before rqg ends, i dug through all my unshared wips and doodles from between when i started listening last year and now, and put together a 5 part doodle dump! this first part is the sketchiest, and they may not look like much but faces just come out so funny when they’re done in a line or two. most of these are from last year, and among the veery first things i ever drew of this cast, so they’re very awkward and outdated. the first four, however, are part of all the sketches it took me to get to the on the trail piece i shared some months ago. stay tuned for 4 more parts, and a merry end party to you all!

campaign about to end? guess it’s shitpost time! my mind cursed/blessed me with a european spanish dub some months ago and finally i can share the… experience, plus a bonus chilean sasha, as a treat. spanish cel haunts me. i haven’t drawn in a month

  the third drawing is of zolf, in his s4 look. his hair is short and white, his beard in a single plait, and he’s turning towards the camera holding his glaive over his back shoulder, and making a placating gesture with his left hand at the front. he has an indifferent expression and has multiple wounds on his face. he’s wearing his old, dark blue raincoat. he’s saying “calmaos, tengo mogollón de puntos de vida”, which would mean “calm down, i’ve got loads of hit points”.
  the last drawing is of cel, who’s pulling their goggles up and smiling down at the camera. they’re very pale, have very vertical light blond hair, and a half burnt ear. they have a faded brown coat, a bandolier across their chest, an orange shirt and elbow-length gloves. they’re smiling widely and say, “¡hala! ¿qué tal, coleguita?” which is a bit of a horrid translation of “hey, little buddy!”.
  the bonus doodle is sketchy, black-and-white only drawing of sasha, who is angrily yelling while brandishing two daggers. she’s got short, uneven black hair with a sort of undercut, her studded leather jacket and burns on her gaunt face. she’s screaming, “¡yapo, pónganse vío’, chetumare!”, which could be translated into “c'mon, get on with it, dammit!”. end ID]
