Ironwood is going to go full machine

So, this is just a little idea I had. That James will remove the remaining parts of himself that are Organic, becoming fully mechanical.

For one there’s obviously the fact Volume 7 has him give up even more of the Organic parts of himself, and the fact he is based on the Tin Man.

And another thing? In his Conversation with Oscar, he openly says that he had theorized that the reason Salem was able to stay one step ahead of them was because of her lack of humanity.

And of course, in the original Oz stories who’s Charachters the Oz based Charachters in rwby allude to? Get this, the Tin Mans backstory, Wich wasn’t in the movie, is that he was actually a normal woodsman who slowly became more Tin over time, with his Limbs slowly being chopped off and having to be replaced with Tin, until eventually he fully became The Tin Man.

My theory about “Sacrifice”

Who the singer is supposed to be is something I’m still kinda lost about(had a little idea it was Cinder but that would require some stuff to happen)

But I do have an idea about who the song is about.

We all assume she’s singing to Ozpin, but what if she’s not? Cause I had the idea she’s singing about James

It was an idea born because of the whole theme of “I’m not your sacrifice!” And how ‘Willing to throw people under the bus and act like it’s you making a sacrifice’ is a theme with James in Volume 7.

Can’t fit alot of the lyrics into this theory, Wich are likely some weird symbolism either way. But the ones I can….

“Did the things you thought you should, all the things they said were….good. All your faith in ancient ways, leaves you trapped in a maze”

Part of James issue is that he’s largely a product of Atlas culture, from its sense of Pride above the other kingdoms being reflected in how he’s convinced he knows what’s best and ultimately considers Atlas city more important then the rest of remnant. And he largely adopts Mantles mindset of emotional repression from the great war implemanting it in the military, and both that and his sense of 'I know what’s best’ screw him over hard.

“Pierce the sky escape your fate, more you’ll try the more you’ll just breed…Hate, and lies”

Is supposed to be mocking James for his plan in volume 7, trying to escape Salem by lifting Atlas further into the Skies, and how his plan only ends up causing conflict and was doomed for Failure anyway.

“What if all the plans you made, were not worth the price they paid? Even with the lives you stole, still no closer to your…goal”

Again, about James issue with making others pay the price for the sake of his plans and acting like It’s his Sacrifice to make. With this line being about how his methods to achieve his plans weren’t merely amoral, but they were not actually helping him to defeat Salem. Leaving all his 'Sacrifices’ meaningless.

Why is this the scene that gets me. Like I was fine until this moment.
