I was a bit unsure about posting it because it turned out hotter than I meant and I’m a really shy person but I can’t say I don’t like the result and actually I had fun drawing it!

I’m home! I missed you!

Maa… You’ve been away for only a few days.

Sayuri just got back from a mission that took just a couple of days. Still, she really missed her favourite silver haired ninja, who’s now Hokage so he hardly ever joins field ops.

Welcome home, I missed you too.

Naruto OC Event - Day 7 ¦ Free Day

『Team Shikaku』

When Sayuri became genin, she was assigned to Nara Shikaku with Izumo and Kotetsu as her teammates. (Seriously, I couldn’t wish for a cooler sensei, he would have been an awesome teacher! Since Choza was himself a team sensei, why not Shikaku? I wish we could have had more of this kind of content. And about Izumo and Kotetsu too, we know very little about them and I think it would have been very fun to know more about their childhood).

Naruto OC Event - Day 6 ¦ A Day Off

Sayuri keeps herself busy volunteering at Konoha Dog Shelter, run by the Inuzuka clan. That’s where she met Inuzuka Hana and her little brother, Kiba, for the first time. Despite the difference in age between Sayuri and Hana, they became quite good friends and a great research team too.

Trivia: Kiba has a not-so-secret crush on Sayuri and his sister likes to tease him about this.

Naruto OC Event - Day 5 ¦ Contract Animal

Mamoruis a giant white wolf and he is the ancestor of all the ninja wolves. He is really old - he is almost 300 - and blind, due to a fight during the Great War against the snakes, wolves’ natural enemy. He taught Sayuri how to make full use of her enhanced sense of hearing. She learned how to fight with her eyes closed, which turned to be very useful when facing genjutsu users - her weak point.

Mamoru means “to protect” and he is in fact very protective towards Sayuri - although the first time they had met he tried to eat her because he hadn’t smelled a human for a very long time and he thought she was a monkey (monkeys and wolves can barely stand each others). But in the end he started to like her and trear her like one of his children and grandchildren (in fact he calls her “pup” and other nicknames).

Naruto OC Event - Day 5 ¦ Chakra Nature

Sayuri’s natural affinity is Lightning Release, which she uses combined with her weapons (katana, kunai) or by casting a jutsu. Her most powerful technique is Nagareboshi (“shooting star”) which consists in a huge and powerful lightning bolt that destroys the target previously marked with a sign. But as much as it is powerful, it is also dangerous for many reasons: first, it drains her chakra almost completely; secondly, it is difficult to hit a moving target. Moreover, Sayuri’s sense of hearing is particularly sensitive and she must avoid loud noises such as explosions. When casting Nagareboshi, she temporarily shuts her hears off which means that she is momentarily exposed to the enemy’s silent attacks. She represents a paradox, because she has a serious phobia of lightnings and explosions, so she usually uses her electrified hand to instantly kill the opponent or an electrified weapon to increase its effectiveness.

As a jonin, she has mastered more than a nature, in fact she can easily use Water and Fire release.

Naruto OC Event - Day 4 ¦ Favourite Jutsu

Since her father’s family belonged to the buke(the so called “samurai”), Sayuri has mastered the art of kenjutsu (which means“art of the sword”), but she is still a pretty good ninjutsuuser.

Her katana’s name is Mikazuki (“crescent moon”) and it has belonged to her clan for generations. In fact, it obeys only to a member of her clan and it has magical powers, like absorbing those elements which can make it stronger (like poison, chakra, etc).

Since my lack of new content lately, I bring you this old ancient drawing (around year 2008), which was my very first attempt at making a comic. I must admit that, even after all these years, I still like it and I think it’s a very good attempt (I can’t believe I used to draw actual backgrounds )…except for the dialogues, which I blurred because reading them today makes me feel so cringe.

What do you think they are saying?

K: Do you know what is the true meaning of teamwork?

S: Yessir! The more we are, the less the effort!

K: Wrong.

It feels so good to draw again

Sorry for being inactive lately but I’ve been babysitting my niece almost everyday for a month now so I have little time to draw and I’m really very sorry

『 A man full of surprises 』

I wish I was able to write a short story about this one, but I’m not very good at writing in my own language, let alone in English. I mean, in my head everything sounds amazing, but then when I try to put all of this into words… well my head goes blank. This is actually very frustrating.

So I’ll let you imagine it.

It’s Naruto and Hinata’s wedding day and the party is almost over. Although, before going home, Kakashi takes Sayuri aside to spend some time alone with her in a quiet spot (it’s been a very busy day, obv) and to take his mask off (it’s a warm day). Sayuri would like to dance, but she is not much of a dancer (traditionally speaking). Kakashi seems to read her mind and takes her hands, making her moving slowly just for fun. Then he pulls her close and, to Sayuri’s great surprise, he reveals himself to be a really fine dancer.
