#throwbackthursday Transitioning from crow to tripod headstand into a soft chaturunga dandasana. Because of my cervical kyphosis I greatly minimise any strong or excess headstand practise which is truly difficult for me since I love me a good headstand practise! But yoga is forever the strict yet loving & committed teacher, through the years teaching me to surrender my ego & attachments & sometimes stripping me bare. I love practising on grass on the beach because of the cushioning it gives to the joints & safety for any unforeseen falls. What the grass takes away due to uneven surface, it gives back in softness & cushioning.
