LIVE

Hampton, Virginia: Recently, a local veteran made the heartbreaking decision to surrender his beloved Australian Shepherds, Gizmo and Cubby. You see, during a tour in Iraq he sustained a traumatic brain injury — the result of a bombing — and the physical complications have left him unable to care for his sweet, active pups.

Their goal at Animal Aid Society is to find an amazing home for his boys — so he can stop worrying and focus on recovery — but to do that, they need your help! Please help spread the word by sharing this post and telling your friends and family about these adorable, adoptable Aussies.

Gizmo and Cubby are both 2½-year-old, male Australian Shepherds. They’re playful, affectionate, smart, and energetic. Because they are a bonded pair, they’d like to send them home together.

Pensacola, Florida: The local shelter is still facing the dilemma of being way beyond capacity. They have a critical need for space. To alleviate their need, we would love to help these beautiful old timers out, but we need Fospice fosters to help.

Can you help us help these silver faced pooches? These beautiful pooches deserve to have a loving home in their final days.

If you are in the Pensacola, Florida area and want to help a snowy-faced senior, email [email protected] and ask for a Fospice foster application!

Stamford, Connecticut: This will be your morning view, if Bella Sr goes home with you ❤️.

Don’t let her serious face fool you! When she’s not smiling and wagging her tail she looks displeased, but just show her a treat and her eyes will light up! Bella Sr loves going on walkies, she gets so waggy when she sees her leash, and those wags double when she sees her volunteer friends.

She loves to hang out in the park, letting the sun warm her as you pet her. She takes life at a mild but grateful pace.

This older lady is a local owner surrender who came in a few months ago, but poor Bella Sr has not had a single application come in. Her shelter friends think she is about 7-9 years old, 50lbs, healthy, active, and a total cuddle bug.

Bella Sr would prefer a home with no other dogs or maybe a very mellow dog, she has been playful with cats, and she will be good with children who respect her when she is sleeping/relaxing.

Do you have Bella Sr’s perfect retirement home? Apply now at https://www.petfinder.com/dog/bella-50966141/ct/stamford/lucky-dog-refuge-ct598/

Kerrville, Texas: What are you thinking??? Go get this boy! You’re missing out!

Odis must be holding out for you, because incomprehensibly, there has been zero interest in this handsome guy!

Odis is a 3 year old chihuahua mix. He is a complete sweetheart! He’s potty trained, walks great on leash, loves his stuffed kong treats(just no bananas per his personal request ). He also loves taking his strolls with all his volunteer friends.❤️

Odis’ only request is to be the only dog so he can be extra spoiled.

Lebanon, Tennessee: Buster’s ISO unconditional love and understanding. He is active, playful, and doesn’t mind getting his paws dirty. Buster also doesn’t mind an evening to just relax and chill watching a movie and eating snacks.

Hobbies include playing ball, chasing squirrels, and hanging out with his calm dog friends. Once comfortable, he is very loving and firmly believes he is a lap dog (a 64 lb. lap dog!).

He is treat motivated and loves the ladies. Buster is neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm negative, and on flea/heartworm prevention. You can adopt this special young man into your life for $75.

Media, Pennsylvania: Energetic and affectionate! That describes me – Frenchy. I am equally as joyful romping with another dog as I am showering kisses on any available human. At 1 year old, I am full of puppy enthusiasm.

My ideal home would have another playful and confident dog to romp with who is at least as big as me. My play style may be a bit much for smaller dogs. I would love a back yard. No apartment life for me. Kids middle school aged or above would be the best match for me.

Guess what else: I know how to walk nicely with a harness. Let’s get together and I’ll demonstrate!

My bags are packed and I am move-in-ready, I am:

spayed

up-to-date on vaccinations

microchipped

about 40 pounds

I’m enjoying life at a doggie daycare foster at the moment. So, if you would like a peppy bundle of love to liven your household, please call our adoption center (610-566-4575) or email [email protected]

XOXO – Frenchy

P.S. One of my volunteer friends here at Providence Animal Center is so excited for me to find my new home that they have sponsored my adoption fee. That means I can join your family for FREE! So what are you waiting for??

Southern California: Senior dogs make perfect companions - they are generally easy going, easy to please, and so appreciative of the little things.

Many senior rescue dogs have been through a lot in their years, and they are just looking for a little human affection and a few belly rubs.

Check out seniors Berlin, Brutus, Fanny, and Luna Lady. These expert nap takers with their frosty, sugar kissed faces are waiting for you! You can read more about them at www.labsandmore.org.

Dallas, Texas: Don Pancho is a sweet guy who was found as a stray. He quickly made friends with everyone at the shelter, and they all agree that he’s one heckin’ friendly, adorable pup who’d be perfect for anyone’s home!

Don Pancho LOVES treats, and he does this cute thing where he throws his own toys in the air to catch them! He’s deaf, so his family will need to use hand gestures instead of vocal cues to continue to train him. He already sits automatically for treats and attention; he’s on his way to being the bestest boy!

Allendale, New Jersey: Archer is ready to ROLL and looking for a loving home with someone who will cherish him and keep him safe.

Archer came into the shelter at only a few weeks old. Once in foster care, his foster mom noticed some quirks in his behavior and after extensive texting learned Archer is deaf.

Archer is the absolute sweetest puppy you will ever meet. He LOVES everyone and is a big goofball who you will quickly fall in love with. Everyone who has him immediately loves him. Being hearing impaired has not dampened his spirits at all! He is a confident, good-natured, playful boy, eager to be part of a family. He’s full of puppy kisses and up for any adventure.

Archer is crate-trained and house-trained and has dreams of big adventures and lazy nights.
