#shiny charm
My shiny luck has been crazy recently. Used the Masuda Method for Salazzle and caught Pangoro and Ditto in raids.
I got my shiny Haxorus yesterday and I’m really happy because it’s one of my favorites. An hour ago, a shiny Klinklang got away….and then an hour after that, I encountered a shiny D-Max Kingler and it escaped too…….the Pokémon gods had to humble me.

Hey everyone, awesome news! Because of my roommate I managed to complete the Dex and get my shiny charm! I remember what seems ages ago that I promised to do a giveaway so lets get this ball rolling because I have something super special!
That’s right ladies and gentlemen (and everyone in between or outside of the gender binary)! Due to a very special deal that surprisingly didn’t end with the other person dropping out when they got what they wanted, I have in my possession 11 Diancies, 13 Hoopas, and 16 Volcanions.
I will, of course, be keeping at least one of each for my own Dex but I do not need the others. SO the first ten people who are following me who message me with the word “giveaway” and their friend code will receive ALL THREE POKEMON.
Now I’m 99.99% sure most of them are hacked in so if you do not believe in that, do not bother to message me saying that I’m a terrible person or that its wrong to do this giveaway. These are purely for filling out the Dex and what you do with them afterwards is none of my business and up to you.

After 2 months of harsh training, breeding and trading, we’ve finally made it! We caught 709 pokémons and got the dreamed Shiny Charm!
Why I’m using the word “we” ? Because I’ve couldn’t ever done it without all of you guys. Because of your Friend Safaris, generous trades or even your motivation; I was able to complete my Pokédex. I am forever graceful for this!

I was able to do it and so are you! I’ll be sharing my tips and help to get a full Pokédex!
- Capture all the Pokémons in Kalos. Run in every routes, surf every waters, search the skies and hunt in the Safaris of your friends! to get every last of them. This maybe a long step but it’s crucial to get some other Pokémons later! Evolve, train them and breed them to fill your pokédex!
- Breed a rare pokémon. (Preferably not from Kalos!) I used Slakoth. Feebas, Buizel, Bonsly are also very prized. Breed a lot of them. Maybe 3-4 boxes or more! It maybe long and tedious, but hey! What about doing some Masuda Method at the same time? You might get a shiny! (It was my case after less than 60 eggs) These little treats will do nicely to get almost every basic stage pokémon!
- Ask for fair trades. How many people you see asking for shiny Pokémon and they don’t give out one? Or people asking for legendary pokémon for a basic pokémon? Don’t be one of those! If you want a legendary pokémon, trade/deposit one! If you ask fair trades, you’ll have no problem at all to get every Pokémons you need! Pokémons evolving by trading with a item are rare. Pokémons evolving with happiness are also rare and hard to come by. But if you ask again for a fair trade, everything is possible! Take one of your pokémon that evolve with happiness and ask for an other pokémon with the same evolution method. When you get the pokémon you wanted, deposit it and ask for an other pokémon with the same evolution method and repeat the process until you have all the pokémons you needed! I’d definitely recommend to use the Pokébank to get at least your first legendaries and trade them!
- Don’t lose hope! I know sometimes the GTS feels like a empty space and sometimes all the trades will be near impossible to do. Don’t stop looking! If you need a pokémon, I recommend you deposit a pokémon for it, it’ll be easier to get it. Check the GTS at different hours! I was successful (Being able to trade/more fair trades on the GTS) most in the morning between 8AM to 11AM and least successful late in the evening. (7PM to 11PM) How about shouting for help? Strangers have helped me so much! Or try the Wonder Trade! How about using some pokémons nicknames for indications when trading? Nickname some of your pokémons: “Thank you!”, “Got legends?”, “No, sorry.” and it’ll help you out to negotiate and get understood!
- Remember you don’t need any of the events-only legendaries to complete your pokédex! (Youdon’t need: Mew, Deoxys, Jirachi, Darkrai, Shaymin, Phione, Manaphy, Victini, Genesect, Keldeo, Meloetta) You can get an Celebi by using the Pokébank twice! You need a min. total of 705 pokémons caught to get the Shiny Charm!

(I’m so busy with school it’s horrible and I have so little time to draw, sorry guys for my inactivity!)
I’m currently hunting for a shiny Heatran on my White 2 using soft resets and the more I see this guy, the more cooler it gets and I was in the mood to doodle it. (Since I’m done with homework and I visit a new appartement this afternoon) :)

Since the Friend Safari was quite quiet, I decided to do some Pokéradar.
Froufrou was caught during a chain of 40andRoselia… During a chain of 2. I also caught a shiny Skarmory on my White 2 while RE in the Friend Safari. (The photo was horribly blurry, so no picture and it’s unfortunately modest of nature uggh)
It’s me or after a shiny appears on chain 40, there’s nothing else that’ll shine after that? I even raised the chain to a whooping 70, stayed 2 hours, only resetting the Pokéradar, on 3 different hunts and nothing?
