Originally this was a mockup design for the cover of a fake book/ zine I wanted to make. The concept would be a field book / guidebook of all of the Pokémon in the Kanto region written by Professor Samuel Oak himself.
The book would provide the pokedex entry of each creature and additional notes and journal entries included by the Professor along with notes about each town, shops in the towns, gym leaders, festivals, events, which Pokémon you can find on routes in the region and other advice.
I encountered a shiny Orbeetle yesterday and it escaped the den. It happened right before I went to sleep and I was so mad. Got Lunala and then caught Kingler and Leafeon within ten minutes of each other. Thank you for your grace, Beyonce.
(For New Years we decided to do a little switcheroo. Gabe did the art, despite having no idea how Photoshop works, and Five was permitted to write the entry. Five is normally banned from writing the jokes because of what happened last time she did that.
