Unlike Chapter 1, Deltarune’s Chapter 2 has an alternate route that involves finishing off enemies. This was impossible in the first chapter because enemies usually run, but now…

You have a party member who can literally freeze them in their tracks!

People are calling this the “genocide route”, but that doesn’t really make sense since not all enemies can be killed. Only those you encounter with Noelle can be finished off.

Another name that has been flying around is the “snowgrave route”, but that is a pretty big spoiler!

That’s why we would like people to consider using the “snow mercy route” instead. Not only is it a great pun, but it hints that you need to use snow/ice!

For this blog, we will be tagging and using the name “snow mercy route” to refer to the alternate route in Chapter 2!
