#sjws ruin everything
I’m thinking about how people now including social justice minded people have a fucked up idea of forgiveness and wonder if we’ll ever be able to respond to a famous person doing something wrong in a reasonable way. Everyone with any following has a ticking time bomb waiting to go off. They only have to mess up once. Even if they apologize the apology is probably just for show anyway right? Even if they cry that’s just to get sympathy. Even if they donate money they’re just throwing money at it. There’s basically no way to be in the clear.
Once you’ve done something wrong you ARE wrong.
There is stuff like Restorative Justice which I still don’t totally understand but honestly that requires a moral maturity that most people don’t seem to have
