The whole slender mansion AU was nice as a kid around 2012-2014 but i much prefer thinking that the slenderman, operator, whatever is more of a hallucinogenic parasite rather than a physical manifestation, hence being omnipresent. I like to think that in a way similar to how fungi and plants work, it connects all of the ‘infected’ slender verse characters and communicates through its victims. I know its fictional and logic doesn’t apply but it doesn’t seem realistic to have dozens of murderers all in one place, that’s why I much prefer believing that they’d either be alone, squat or reside in cabins sorted into groups by their compatibility and skills.
