For a Smogon’s Flying Press article about good mons (although somewhat unused) in the 1 vs 1 metagame. Saw Relicanth among them and decided to draw a duo with it and Rhyperior. Tried breaking away from my usual style but ultimately didn’t, hue.

Fun little thing I drew for a Smogon article that focused on Flying types in OU.

The World Cup at Smogon where players of different nationalities clash against each other has begun, and with it, teams asking for team logos. This team wanted a Quagsire juggling Exeggutor’s heads, and with Q being one of my favs, that alone made this logo worthwhile.

A banner I made for Smogon’s recent Sorting Dex, representing the Abraccus School for the Gifted. Had troubles making it look fancy and intelligent, but any reason to draw Metagross is a good one.

Helped around the Smogon forums a bit by making banners for a few tournaments and community projects.

I have found that stashing away Pokemon in elegant cars and then engaging them in a wild police chase make any illustration that much more memorable, but since this was used to illustrate the results of various suspect tests in the RarelyUsed tier, it also happened to be a fitting scene. 

All the way back during the Pokemon Black/White days, an article was written on all of the viable turtle Pokemon in the NeverUsed tier. They happened to be four in number. My choice was clear.

My submission for Smogon’s CAP 28, which is so far a Bug/Dragon with Neutralizing Gas and Compound Eyes. I obviously dipped back into the same well as Draborate for treehopper + dragon, but this one also takes elements from dragons in fairy tales that lock princesses in towers. It’s both the dragon and the tower!
