Here’s the last little bundle I’ve got. I hope you’ve enjoyed my painted pokemon! I feel like I learned quite a lot about executing this art style - I’m hoping to get more practice in.

Am I the only one who thought shuckle evolved into torkoal, or what?
@hoork challenged me to do this, so here we are! I wanted to try and mimic Sugimori’s style as closely as possible, and while there are certainly improvements to make, I’m actually really happy with how this turned out.
This is me (and my wonderful daughter) as a rock-type gym leader! Our focus would be fossil type Pokemon, such as Cradily and Kabutops. My lead would be my Shuckle, Jerry, who I’ve had since the release of Pokemon Colosseum.
I have found that stashing away Pokemon in elegant cars and then engaging them in a wild police chase make any illustration that much more memorable, but since this was used to illustrate the results of various suspect tests in the RarelyUsed tier, it also happened to be a fitting scene.
