He also revealed that his first experience of physical touch with someone of the opposite sex was with a fan since he debuted at a young age. Wanna One is one of the hottest boy bands of 2017, and they’re unfortunately having to experience the downsides of popularity due to a handful of fans and their disorderly conduct.

On August 25, Wanna One arrived at the KBS Broadcasting Hall in Yeoido, Seoul to rehearse and record their performance for “Music Bank.” Both fans and reporters flocked to the scene to snap pictures of the popular group.

According to a representative who was there, everything was relatively safe and calm before Wanna One arrived. The KBS staff set up fences for safety reasons, as well as a designated area for the group to stand and get their photos taken. Fans and reporters were said to have been waiting patiently for Wanna One to arrive.

However, things became chaotic when Wanna One’s van arrived on the scene. A few overzealous fans jumped over the barricades that had been set up to get closer to the idols.

KBS security personnel had to step in and usher Wanna One back into their car due to safety concerns. The group had to then turn their car around and enter the building through a different entrance.

A YMC Entertainment representative explained, “The members of Wanna One were scheduled to stand in the designated area, and take photos and greet the many fans and reporters who were waiting for them, but they unfortunately had to turn around due to a few overzealous fans.”

Today, Wanna One will be appearing on “Music Bank” for the first time since making their debut, and will perform “Energetic” and “Burn It Up.”

NU’EST’s JR was recently asked to choose which members of Wanna One he’d like to see on tvN’s “Suspicious Singer”!

“Suspicious Singer” has a unique concept in which people are given the opportunity to showcase their vocal talents by performing in a kind of blind audition with an interesting twist. While the audience and panel will not get to see who is actually singing, as they are standing backstage and hidden behind a curtain, a well-known celebrity will stand on stage and lip sync along to the song and make it look as believable as possible.

During the episode that aired on August 11, Kang Ho Dong asked panelist JR which of his fellow contestants from “Produce 101 Season 2” he would recommend to appear on the show.

JR responded, “I would recommend Wanna One’s Ong Sung Woo and Yoon Ji Sung. They have such dynamic facial expressions and are very talented. I think they’d be perfect for this show.”

The idol also stole the hearts of viewers when he recreated the signature “I’ll save you in my heart” move from Wanna One’s Park Ji Hoon.

Followingtheir debut on “M!Countdown,” the possibility of Wanna One appearing on other music programs has also opened up. Previously, SBS and MBC said they had not yet made a final decision on the matter.

Wanna One will not be performing on KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank” this week due to a special broadcast of another show. In addition, the group was not listed in this week’s lineup for SBS’s “Inkigayo” and MBC’s “Music Core.”

Previously, I.O.I – from the first season of “Produce 101” – never performed on “Music Core” and “Inkigayo” due to alleged restrictions on ties to other broadcasting stations, so many fans are wondering if Wanna One will also have a similar experience.

A source from SBS responded to the matter at hand and said, “Wanna One will not be on ‘Inkigayo’ this week, but this doesn’t mean they will never be on the show. The possibility is open for the future.”

Following this, a source from MBC also commented, “Wanna One will not be appearing on ‘Music Core’ this week; however, if they become a contender for No. 1, there is a chance they will appear. Also, there is no telling whether or not they will be on the show next week.”
