I get super irrationally mad at the idea of the “soulslike” genre for 3 reasons; because dark souls is a 3D metroidvania with RPG elements/RPG with metroidvania elements so you don’t need to make up silly fiction words to describe it, 2; when a game journalist says something is “just like dark souls” they get made fun of but when people make up a genre that is defined by being “just like dark souls” suddenly its ok, and 3; if all your genre brings to the table is “very hard”, that seems like a very shit genre to me.

I had a dream that was some soulslike game. I remember it beginning with the main charter landing on a puddle of oil on an otherwise normal landscape. That ended quickly with the land In all the other shots being grey and dry with lakes, rivers and oceans of oil. Another shot shows a boardwalk-type area with enemies resembling hunchbacked greyskined mummies with staffs that seem to be some kind of spellcaster and these one-legged elderly hunchbacked giant carrying sacks of gold on the backs with one hand and holding a cane with the other. Another scene showed some kind of boss or miniboss on a rickety pier on the oil sea simply called “foul” which resembles a young female one-legged hunchback giant without the gold bag. It just seemed to be flailing wildly.

My first Bloodborne run: The Update

I beat Vicar Amelia and the Hemwick Witch. Now the forbidden woods are driving me mad, I can’t bear those shitty snakes anymoreeee aaaaaaaaaaaa

Also, those three shadow bosses gngngngn I am so mad lmao

Still sucking against snakes and Yharnam shadow trio but took down Amygdala and Darkbeast Paarl

I’m on fire, finally took down the three bitches and Vacous Spider (my heart was crying).
Ughhh can’t wait to finish today’s work and play again!!!

After hours of struggle and farming blood echoes in Yahar'gul I finally got to beat up The One Reborn (ewwww)!
Also, killed Eileen!!! and I have this feeling I completely lost her quest, sob, but now I have a very cool new outfit.
Now going in the upper cathedral ward and I swear, if I get killed again by a mindflayer dude or whatever the hell is that shit I’ll throw the joycon outside my window.

Martyr Logarius made me swear way too much, but I finally took him down.
Met Queen Annalise and since we share the name I became her friend, hehe! I also killed that blond guy from the church, because I am faithful to my Queen. Also, he was very shady, so I don’t regret my actions.
Then I went to upper cathedral ward and had more problems against those motherfucker bloodsuckers than the two bosses, both taken down at second attempt c:
Now I’m getting kicked right in my face while trying to survive in the Nightmare of Mensis, sob.
(I hate spiders!!!!!!!!!!!!)
