QUESTION

Am I the only person who thinks that Dr. Adam Soong’s medical and scientific experiments are the catalyst that starts off the events, which eventfully leads to The Eugenics Wars?

I CALLED IT!

Don’t tell me that the crew of the Stargazer didn’t put together a proper, Starfleet funeral for their captain.

And don’t tell me that the crew of the Stargazer didn’t fill an empty photon torpedo casing with cigars and pictures of mermaids hand-drawn or painted for their captain.

And don’t tell me that the crew of the Stargazer didn’t follow Chilean funeral traditions of songs and prayers, ritual cleanings of survivors, and remembrances for their captain.

And don’t you dare tell me that Cris’ first officer didn’t place a hand on the photon torpedo casing and with a whispered, “Dale,” send the Stargazer crew’s memorial to their beloved captain to a final resting place in space.

I’m just saying that every time Seven of Nine marries a dude, the timeline is so terrible that it has to be erased.

I wonder what Tom Paris would think of Agnes Jurati’s “taste” in cars.

Pixie recaps Picard: Fly Me to the Moon

I can’t stop giggling. It’s as if she’s looking at the camera all weary-from-the-idiocy like Jim from The Office:

Orla Brady Cites Uhura as Inspiration

What Orla Brady says here is so damn important: “I was quite obsessed with Nyota Uhura (Nichelle Nichols) when I was a child — a woman who is in command, being trusted in the top team — because it wasn’t my world in a very repressive country,” Brady explains. “It gave a vision of the future that was very inspiring, and we felt that we could do this. And I think what this season is trying to say is, ‘We won’t get there without the effort.’ It is uncomfortable, and part of me wants to go back to the pristine future of Star Trek. But, I admire the show tackling this.”

Media representation of female leadership makes a positive difference for everyone.
