TIE/rp Reaper attack landers were a variety of TIE used by the Imperial Navy. Specifically, Reapers were used to transport small strike teams through active battlefields. Although they were not heavily armed, armored, or large enough to carry many troops, they were remarkably fast, allowing the Empire to send elite forces to areas where they were needed.

Braha’tok-class gunships, also known as Dornean gunships, were an anti-starfighter craft used by the Rebellion. Initially designed to defend Dornea, the gunships were instrumental in the planet’s efforts to repel the Empire. The Rebel navy, at behest of Admiral Ackbar, reached out to the Dorneans and procured some of the gunships to help their own efforts against the Imperials.

Braha’tokgunships are recognizable in ROTJ as small pointy blips in the background of the Battle of Endor (bottom left). It took years to find a reference model and canon name for them, but following this, they appeared inRebelsandRogue One.

Varactyls were a species of reptavian native to Utapau and found throughout the galaxy. When domesticated, varactyls were friendly and loyal. On their native planet, they were able to scale high grade cliffs with ease and silence, making them excellent mounts for travel or battle. They were very intelligent and remembered their riders.

Mushroom Mesa was a geological formation located in the Dune Sea of Tatooine. Named for the rock formations that resembled large fungi, the Mesa was part of the Boota Eve Classic race circuit. Some superstitious residents of the planet claimed it was created by some unknown powerful beings, as some of the formations resembled humanoid faces.

Nar Shaddaa was the completely urbanized moon of Nal Hutta, in Hutt Space. A filth, decrepit place, Nar Shaddaa was infamous as a gathering place of the lowest scum in the galaxy, and indeed was. Many smugglers, bounty hunters, and others started their careers on the Smugglers’ Moon.

Lannik was a terrestrial planet located in the Mid Rim. A rocky world interspersed with forests, mountains, and deserts, Lannik was home to the diminutive Lannik species. Lannik was ruled by a monarchy and was independent of the Republic, and remained so for most of galactic history. It was rich in minerals, making it a valuable trade partner for many systems. Lannik was Jedi Master Even Piell’s homeworld.

Boz Pity was a habitable planet located in the Mid Rim. A lush world of plains, Boz Pity was once home to the large Gargantelle species, who in ancient times were driven to extinction at the directive of the Hutts. Their slow demise let them construct many massive monuments, and Boz Pity was colloquially known as “the graveyard planet.”

Saleucami was an arid planet located in the Outer Rim. A Pantoran colony, Saleucami was an important trade center and strategic target for the Republic during the Clone Wars. Much of Saleucami was wilderness, with cities being located in large craters created by frequent meteor showers. Due to extreme daytime temperatures, most business was conducted after nightfall.

Grizz Frix was a human pilot and member of the Rebellion. Born on oppressive Devaron, Frix was inspired by the writings of Mon Mothma to join the Alliance. On a fast track to become part of Rogue Squadron, Frix suffered an accident during training that prevented Alliance Command from selecting him. Frix became a supply escort, and a cynic.

Flight helmets were a type of headgear commonly wore by beings piloting starfighters. In military organizations like the Rebellion, certain helmets were worn by certain starfighter wings. Usually, these helmets included some atmospheric comfort technology as well as a microphone. Many nonhuman versions of flight helmets existed.

Muunilinst was a verdant planet in the Outer Rim and headquarters of the InterGalactic Banking Clan. A Muun colony world, Muunilinst was a paradise, with much unspoiled natural beauty, such as volcanic smoke stacks rising out of its shallow oceans. Its cities were cosmopolitan and organized. During the Clone Wars, Muunilinst was a member of the Confederacy and attacked by the Republic.

TheBloodfinwas a FC-20 speeder bike owed by Sith Lord Darth Maul. Stored aboard the Scimitar, Maul’s Sith infiltrator, Maul used the Bloodfinfor reconnaissance and to pursue targets. Its open design allowed Maul to leap from the vehicle easily, while automatic brakes kicked in once the handlebars were released. Maul chose not to arm the speeder, on the pretense that he could simply handle any target after overtaking them.

C-9979 landing craft were large transports manufactured for the Trade Federation droid army, and later general Separatist military use. These sizable vessels could carry multiple vehicles and troops. When in storage in larger craft, C-9979s wings could be detached to store them easily.

IT-O Interrogator droids were small spherical hovering droids designed by the Empire to question prisoners. IT-Os were originally exclusively used by the Imperial Security Bureau, IT-Os found their way into broader Imperial use as the rumors of their effectiveness spread. They were equipped with truth chemicals and many instruments capable of causing extreme pain.

Aka’jor-class shuttles were a type of small transport manufactured by MandalMotors. Compact vessels, Aka’jorswere praised for their speed, and were often modified to serve as assault shuttles. The Mandalorian regime led by Duchess Satine Kryze used the shuttles, and they were popular across the galaxy.

HH-87 Starhoppers were starfighters popular with the criminal underworld. Commonly used by the Hutts as patrol vehicles, the slavers of Zygerria also used Starhoppers as versatile pursuit craft. They were designed to prominently display their armor plating, unmistakable as a noncombat ship.

C-ROCGozanti-class light cruisers were a common type of starship at the end of the Clone Wars. An officially produced modification of Gozanti-class light cruisers, C-ROCs were designed with increased cargo capacity and slightly better armor. Intended for trade use, C-ROCs became popular with pirates and smugglers as well. They were lightly armed with retractable quad-laser turrets.

Kihraxz assault fighters were a type of heavy starfighter commissioned by the crime syndicate Black Sun. Intentionally designed to resemble the well-known X-wing, Kihraxzs were popular with independent spacers, as they were easily reconfigured. These different loadouts made individual fighters unique, although they usually performed the same.

Wayfarer-class medium transports were a type of starship commonly used by traders and smugglers. Possessing a large, detachable cargo pod, Wayfarers were versatile, allowing users to fill the pod with goods or even small starfighters. However, it was not compatible with standard cargo pods, which led to the vessel not being incredible popular. Some pirates and the Rebellion retrofitted Wayfarers as assault craft.

Greater Javin was a region of space in the Western Reaches of the Outer Rim. Relatively backwater, Greater Javin was connected to the rest of the galaxy through the Corellian Trade Spine. Ecclessis Figg, an entrepreneur, was credited with blazing new trade routes in the region, making it more of a trade zone. Hoth and Bespin were both located in the Greater Javin region.
