By now it’s obvious that most people perfectly understand the rules of timetravel in the mcu but they’re ignoring it for the sake of trying to push this idea that Steve was evil for going back to Peggy.

Steve didn’t erase her life, he went into a new timeline. If they could erase the past of the original timeline then 2014!Thanos being killed would have caused a paradox.

Yes the screen writers have said they belive Steve was Peggy’s husband all along but the movie establishes the rules clearly. It doesn’t matter what they say after, it matters what was written in canon, have we learned nothing from j*r?

And also, aos has now made it clear that Daniel was never Peggy’s husband, so everyone can stop trying to argue that the movie did him dirty.
