Well, Alex Marshall’s brilliant Crimson Empire trilogy has come to a close, and I have that yummy heartbreak feeling when a book you have really loved is over, so I’m drawing my feels out. I’m sure none of you will be surprised to learn I am ALL ABOUT Mad Max Ji. To anyone who has yet to read this series, go go go!! Subversive inclusive BIZARRE modern fantasy <3

DP Reanimated Storyboard Test!
Trying out free programs that can serve as an alternative for Storyboard Pro. This is a lil’ concept I was toying around with, sorta inspired by LOTR: Danny gets a ring that amplifies his power but it also makes him super unstable and really angry / traps him in his head.
The program used here is Storyboarder, a free open source program made by storyboarders for storyboarders! It’s honestly great and while there are a few drawbacks I really can’t complain bc it’s just so nice. Expect a full, detailed review of the software soon!
Here’s an extract from my work on The Amazing World of Gumball (aka the best kids show of all time). This is from the episode “The Nuisance” (season 5). It’s hilarious, you gotta watch the whole thing!
This is a transformation sequence, inspired by An American Werewolf In London (1981) and was a lot of fun to board/pre-design :)

I’ve been wanting to do this cross over for a while. Now that I finished my Anne Blue pic, thought it would be a good time to unveil this .
After seeing true colors i had to draw something. I also had the chance to play with new brushes for the aura. Turned out better than I thought @amphibi-crew
