PSA: YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO MAKE STRAY KIDS FEEL BAD ABOUT THE WAY THEY LOOK!!!!!

i’m writing this because i’ve already seen people talking shit about felix’s new hair color and i honestly can’t stand it, it’s my weak spot. all boys from stray kids have always been nothing but kind to us and they don’t deserve something like this. they don’t deserve “stans” who make fun of their freckles, braces, glasses, curly hair, acne, dark circles under their eyes, etc. i mean, how can you even call yourself their fan if you do something like this? did you know that stress can cause acne? did you know that those boys are probably stressing 24/7 over their performances and fansigns because they want to make us feel good and they want to give us their 100% every time? did you know that those dark circles under their eyes are caused by the sleepless nights they’ve spent on practicing choreography, writing new lyrics that would actually mean something to us? if you know all of it and you still make fun of them for something as trivial as their looks, how do you call yourself a fan? a few months ago some people made felix feel so bad about his freckles that he actually apologized for having them. felix apologizedfor something he was bornwith, something he had absolutely no control over. and now you want him to apologize for his hair color, too? do you want jeongin to apologize for his braces? do you want chan to apologize for his curly hair? do you want hyunjin to apologize for the way he speaks even though he’s working on it every single day? do you want minho to apologize for having to breatheduring live performances which made his lines sound a little breathless, all because he was dancing at the same time? you have no right to make them feel bad about anything like that. and before you come at me with your “i have the right to have opinions”, let me tell you something. of course you have the right to your own opinions, you don’t have to like every single thing about your idol, you have the right to not like their new hairstyle/hair color. that’s totally fine. but what’s not fine is being an asshole and telling it to their faces. what’s not fine is making those boys feel like they should apologize for their own choices or for something they were born with. you don’t like something? great!!! but if you can’t be nice about it, just sit down and shut up. there’s a line between having an opinion and being disrespectful. it’s not hard. being kind is not hard.

this applies to all idols, too. sorry for snapping.

*coughs loudly* ^^^^^^
