Day 23: Los Angeles.
Drew one of my old OCs Jiho in some LA merch since she would seem like a big sports person. This was a loose sketch and the pose I used to work off was by Kibbitzer. They have great pose references. I really recommend their stuff.
I really like how this turned out and I may have to draw some more of Jiho.
Day 22: Poison and Butterfly
Part of a 60 day art challenge with friends on Gaiaonline.
For this day I chose to do two of the prompts presented to us and combined them. It was fun designing the skull in to the butterfly but I do need some practice on designing potion bottles.

Day 15: Video Games
I went with a video game series I’ve only gotten in to more recently in the past couple years. Devil May Cry. I love some of the designs for the monsters in the last two games in the series. I’d always wanted to draw their gruesome selves. Glad I got to draw one for this challenge.
Day 16: Lantern, Tiger and Chinese New Year
This was a triple combo. Each day for Paint Parade we are given multiple prompts. I decided to combine several of them. (Of course the idea originally came from my husband)
Day 13: Oni
I had fun drawing this one out. Linework is getting easier for me in procreate and it makes me super happy. These prompts are really challenging me.

Brother of famous drug lord, Pablo Escobar, Roberto Escobar has unveiled a new smartphone with flexible screen and stainless steel case. The Escobar Fold One smartphone, was claimed to be developed as a bid to rival Apple technology.
Similarly to other android phones released this year, the new fold phone has a screen, which uses the android operating system, allows the phone to be used like a tablet. Escobar claimed the phone is completely indestructible.
‘Roberto Escobar, just like his brother Pablo, has always wanted the best,’ said Olof Gustafsson, CEO of Escobar Inc.
“They have always been very innovative people,’ he said. ‘We believe we can beat Apple and now we will see soon.’
The gold folding smartphone has gained a lot of attention regarding the ‘raunchy’ marketing campaign. Wearing lingerie, and sometimes nothing at all, the models pose with the Escobar Fold One showcasing the phone’s folding technology.
How foldable phones work
Foldable phones have been increasingly popular, especially this year, seeing other foldable smartphones launched including the Mate X by Huawei,Microsoft’s Surface Duo, and a revamped Motorola Razr flip phone.Samsung was forced to delay the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Fold after reports of screen breakages.
Samsung made clear that the foldable technology is beneficial because ‘When it is open, it is a tablet offering a big-screen experience. When closed, it’s a phone that fits neatly inside your pocket,’ said Samsung Mobile Product Marketing Senior Vice President, Justin Denison.
To make this technology, a transparent organic light-emitting diode (OLED) is used, and in-between them are two thin films of organic material between two electrodes. To make the conductive material transparent as well, the industry often use indium tin oxide (ITO).
An analysis last year from BCC Research indicates that the global market for flexible OLED displays more than doubled from 2016 to 2017, now topping two billion dollars. It expects the flexible display market, specifically, to quadruple over by 2022.

The Jean Ralphio Seal Of Being The Worst
Parks and Rec fans (and tumblr in general)! Through my getting used to drawing with a tablet, one thing lead to another and this was created. Jean Ralphio is portrayed by the fantastic improviser and actor Ben Schwartz (rejectedjokes). Ben is definitely a comedy idol of mine and I follow his career closely. He is one of the reasons I want to pursue improv comedy. And what he brings to the character of Jean Ralphio from Parks and Rec (nbcparksandrec) truly makes him (IMO) one of the greatest TV characters of all time.
Us this seal wisely and for things that are truly the worst. The bottom one is a transparent .png file!

Portrait of Paquio Proculo or the Pompeii couple, Pompeii, Circa 70 AD,
The so-called portrait of Paquio Proculo or the Pompeii couple is a fresco preserved at the National Archaeological Museum of Naples found in the “house of Pansa” in the archaeological excavations of Pompeii.
The fresco depicts a Bourgeois couple of Pompeii, most likely husband and wife. They are commonly referred to as “Paquio Proculo and his wife” because of an inscription found on the exterior of the house, in reality it is the baker Terentius Neo, as would reveal a graffiti found inside the house, while the external graffiti found on the outside of the building was an electoral poster in favor of Paquio Proculo, then actually elected duovir Pompeii.
Baker - who had his pistrinum on the path of Abundance - comes dressed in a toga, thus qualifying as a Roman citizen.
It has been suggested also that the somatic characters of the two characters depicted betrays the Samnite origins, which explains the desire to show social status achieved: the man pictured shaking it a roll of papyrus (rotulus), while the woman holds in holding a wax tablet and stylus, suggesting that the man would deal with cultural and public activities or that the woman instead of the administration of occupied home and business: it waxed tablets found at Pompeii, which still show traces of inscriptions, are all commercial and economic (rent contracts, receipts, sales, credit or debit notes, etc…)

today we get a half-finished sketchy doodle of a random person because GUESS WHAT? my tablet picked today to conk out!! it’s over three years old by now and i should have seen this coming, but there was no warning at all! it was working just fine last night, and then all of a sudden, it just wouldn’t respond!
i’m unbelievably upset. tomorrow i’m going home and i’m gonna try to uninstall/reinstall the software to see if that helps anything (but i don’t think it will). until then, get ready for shitty webcam pictures of paper drawings until i can order a new one.

I recently received the Artist 24 Pro from XP-Pen. It’s a giant display tablet and I totally love drawing on such a large space.
The stylus to screen has no parallax at all and for such a large screen the pixels are barely perceivable thanks to it’s QHD pixel density. Initial pen pressure to mark is significantly better than the 15.6 I tried out before. Also comes with it’s own adjustable stand that locks into very convenient angles.Color calibration seems to be very accurate and identical to my main monitor.
Unfortunately, during setup I took off the textured protective film and had to draw without it. It was frustrating at first but I got used to the experience. This is definitely one of the main drawbacks to the display tablet, the textured feel is not bonded to the screen and is instead a film. Fortunately I contacted XP-Pen about the situation and they are sending over a protective film as soon as they are in production.
Drivers were a breeze to install and everything in Photoshop worked great.
You can’t beat the price for the size and experience of this tablet. It’s great and I totally recommend it. It can definitely handle Pro work and a great investment for beginners.

I thought i’d Share This amazing Sight..My grandfather Born in the 1920’s playing duckhunt on my tablet in 2013..to me a really fascinating sight :) it stunned me that he was actually good at it.
