Yo Genuine Question OP how would I go about doing this in my neighbor hood, do you need to talk to the Church? or is it a permit thing? Sorry if you already have a post about the process but I’m supper curious.
Yeah, definitely reach out to the Church! In this case it’s a family cemetery, so no permission needed. But I did get on to the council of the neighbouring decommissioned church, and asked for full permission before proceeding over there. And if it’s not old stones like this, try and make sure the living family is cool with it.
As for the process, you should watch some videos that emphasize using solutions like D2, and only gentle cleaning methods. Good luck!
