Thank you to everyone joining me on this journey. It means a lot.

So I’m currently answering a few asks for Orihime and it got me thinking. Ichihime fans, do you think Orihime told Ichigo about her past? Like about her parents, how Sora escaped with her and raised her, her last day with Sora, about the aunt who financially supports her, and so on. How do think Ichigo reacted to hearing all of this (either all at once or maybe in parts over the years)?

I can’t not see her telling him (just like I can see her telling Tatsuki about what happened at Hueco Mundo). I can see Ichigo seeing the inner strength and resilience she has; she went through so much before becoming an adult, but she remained kind and empathetic and loving through it all.

It might even help Ichigo to divulge to Orihime his feelings about his mother’s death, his belief he was the reason she died, and why he isn’t a fan of the rain. I think after the final arc, he is starting to move on and process his feelings and thoughts around Masaki’s past and her death, but maybe talking about it with Orihime after they start dating is what helps him to finally completely move on. Maybe she helps him see the rain different too.
