What if a technique was available that enabled one to insert a set of images/clips/visual cues into a machine - it processes the moods and colors and themes - ultimately dispensing a small, clear pill you would take before going to sleep, which releases a nanobot payload that quickly navigates your bloodstream and floods your brain with a perfectly fine-tuned (yet original) dream concept that would contain an intuitive and “understanding” blend of the data you fed the machine. Dream duration (5 min to 7½ hours) and personal data (preferences, experience, toggle sleep apnea alarm) is set either via the external holographic keypad, or the startup terminal.

Realizing the idea would only take getting a bio-engineer, a physics professor, a basement chemist w/o morals, a neurosurgeon w/o medical ethics, a genious programmer, couple of Intel people and the 2 Davids (Cronenberg and Lynch) together on this.

I’m thinking it shouldn’t take more than 2-3 weeks, tops. The Kickstarter will be up and collecting soon - every backer will get a commemorative pill from the first safe batch, pledges over 1000 bucks will also get one with original content from the Davids + firmware upgrades to enable upcoming features such as “Nightmare OptOut” and “Lucid Dream modular support” (both will require DirectX 70)

The Diva Shell struggle during end of year concert season is real! Each 30’ tower weighs about 1000lbs. This is about 1.5 hrs of work sped up. We generally do this a couple of times a week.

We got a chance last night to create/produce NYC’s Ballet Nepantla’s beautiful “Valentina” show as they toured through Texas! The show highlights the strength and resilience of women during Revolutionary Mexico.

We had to bake our older 2nd vinyl marley dance floor a little bit so we could stretch it out and tape it down for a ballet folklorico touring show tomorrow!

Let’s help a HS Theatre program get their auditorium working again they said. It hasn’t been used since the pandemic started so it won’t be creepy they said! They lied!

I watched our Diva Shell wall being put in from our pin rail and it sways even more than I thought.

I may or may not have pumped a little to much pre-show water based haze for Matilda’s magical projected self writing chalk board. You can actually start to make out the words in the haze!

Their is a completely different type of creativity that comes from designing lights for Dance, it’s like a runners high!

Not gonna lie, I enjoy the view from backstage more than anything during concert season. I’m a techie at heart and we live in the dark. (Diva Shell)

I really enjoy being artistic when it comes to designing a dance show.

Tell me you’re hosting a UIL One-Act Play contest without telling me you’re hosting a UIL One-Act Play contest.

Live theatre is happening in our black box!

If you build it they will come! We are building the multi level costume racks in our new Costume Shop. 12’ tall by 34’ wide using 1.5” schedule 40 steel pipe and 90* couplers. We bolted the flanges into the cinder block and added liquid nail today. We should be able to finish on Monday and have at least 77’ of costume hanging space with room to expand for future growth.

We did a thing today! Organization is important people!! Plus it makes me feel calm!

I forgot how much work it is to clean and paint a stage but it is finally done after 3 hours of prep and 4 hrs of painting! It hasn’t been painted in almost 3 yrs.

Besides building the dock in the pit for Mamma Mia we had a chance to build the “towers” on both USL and USR. 14’ Hollywood flats plastered to look like the outside of homes in Greece.
