#lucid dreaming

LIVE

So, I have ridiculously detailed dreams, and I was hoping someone might know about dreams in regards to the metaphysical. Like, my dreams are usually the fuel for my stories and I’ll sometimes have “dream series”, where one story line is broken up over a period of several days or sometimes even weeks. I’ve heard about lucid dreaming, but I really don’t have the first clue on how to do it and I’d like to learn. Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance!

So I’ve noticed that during 2020 I became so melancholy and fractured at some points that currently my third eye and general spiritual awareness is borderline nonexistent. This, of course, can only mean one thing…

It’s time to break out my Astral Awakening tea again and get back into my meditation routine.

My tea recipe below is for more advanced practitioners and yes I am stating this for a damn good reason!!  Two of the herbs involved in this tea have specific doses and several contraindications and one of them is psychoactive (although most places consider it legal since the effects are rather minor).

I cannot stress this enough: Always, ALWAYS! research each and every herb thoroughly before using, messing with, or adding them to literally anything! Even generally safe, common herbs such as chamomile can have contraindications (ie: chamomile should not be used by people who take blood thinners).

I have experience in this field. Years of it. I’ve done all of my homework six ways from Sunday. That is the only reason I personally even considered experimenting with more risky herbs and ingesting them.

But yeah now that that’s out of the way, here’s my Astral Awakening tea recipe to be used in conjunction with meditation to open your third eye and connect to the spirit realm!

                                                 - - - - - - -

Blue Lotus → ½ tsp.
Devil’s Claw → 1 tsp.
Cornflower → 1 tsp.
Lavender → 2 tsp.

**This should be steeped for 5 to 10 minutes in a small pot with hot water.

Blue Lotus is the psychoactive flower. It has long been associated with the spirit world and the astral realm. It also opens your third eye chakra and assists with astral travel, lucid dreaming, and general psychic ability boosting/awakening.

Devil’s Claw is something I always throw in because it is an extremely powerful protection herb and very, very much wanted when you are in such a vulnerable state as leaving your own body. When projecting, traveling, or even lucid dreaming it’s always a great idea to have some kind of backup, be it a charm, a ward, or a protective herb of some kind. Since you never know how deep or far you’ll travel with this specific tea, I chose Devil’s Claw as my guardian since it is ultra protective and hella good at its job.

Cornflower is strongly associated with the Indigo Children and Star Children in general. It is also known for its influence with deeper, inner connections, spiritual connections, lucid dreaming, and astral travel. Where as Blue Lotus is more like a ship since it kind of just…detaches you and throws you into the unknown, you could say that Cornflower would be a bit more like the starry night sky. It’s a natural compass to guide you through your journey as long as you’re willing to pay attention.

Finally, Lavender is my round-out herb that, although it is also associated with relaxation, sleep, and dreaming, is also pleasant to taste and should keep your travels on the mellow side and aid in side-stepping danger in that regard.

Happy realm hopping!

Dream Magick Spell Bag

For Lucid and Psychic Dreams

Dreams have always been a big part of my practice. I’ve always had very vivid dreams and enjoyed analysing them. Recently though, I’ve had some trouble with recurring nightmares.

I also used to be quite good at lucid dreaming, but I’ve struggled with it the past few years.

This is a simple little spell bag I put together to aid in lucid dreaming, ward against nightmares, and encourage psychic dreams.

Items:

  • Purple spell bag
  • Lavender - induce peaceful dreams
  • Mugwort - psychic and lucid dreams
  • Rosemary - protection
  • Marigold - dream divination
  • Mullein - protection against nightmares and spirits
  • Valerian root - induce sleep
  • Amethyst - dream enhancer

Set the task for each ingredient as you add it to the bag.

Charge the complete bag for your specific purpose, with whatever method you prefer. Place it under your pillow.

Keep a notebook near your bed and record your dreams as soon as you wake up. Pay attention to themes, feelings, recurring patterns, smells etc. This will help train your brain to better recall dreams

Hi there!

I recently started working with Sacred Smoke Herbals’s CBD flower for divinatory purposes, and just thought I’d mention the types I’ve tried and how I like them/what I use them for. As a secondary benefit, I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis last year and smoking this flower has been extremely valuable for my pain management.

Of course, they also have many witchy items like herbs and altar supplies–this is a great resource for those as well!

Another benefit is that they offer prerolls, which is extremely invaluable to me–I no longer have the dexterity to roll my own flower.

So far, in the order shown above, I’ve tried:

-Bubba Kush Hemp Flower

This is my favorite for pain management! If I’ve had a stressful day, this soothes my muscles and allows me to relax enough to fall asleep.

-Astral Traveler Prerolls

These were my most unexpected surprise! After smoking before bedtime, I had my first lucid dream in about 14 years. For clear reasons, these are also fantastic if you’re working with astral traveling!

-Sour Space Candy Hemp Flower

A variety that many folks are already aware of–this strain indeed does promote euphoria and relaxation. I find that I’m the most creative after using this!

-Wild CBD Honey

The first thing you should know is that the bees who produced this honey are allowed to freely forage in wildflowers and taken excellent care of. With that out of the way, this is my favorite thing to add to a cup of chamomile tea before bed! It’s extremely relaxing and tastes amazing.

If anything here seems interesting to you, you can use my code ADELAIDE15 to get 15% and free shipping over 35$ on all of your orders! You can also click the link below to take advantage of this offer.

When day becomes night and night becomes day. I told myself, I will go to bed after this and the infinite hyperlinking transcends time. When finally I succumb to droopy lids, set aside my reading materials (whether it’s a laptop or a book) on the empty side of my double bed and lie down. Sometimes I close my lids and all I see are statics from my brain neurons firing. I thought about what I read, and the day and people’s faces. Did I come off too strong? I should have said something. Why is it like this? Suddenly I thought of a word I didn’t understand but was too lazy to look up earlier. I got up and search the dictionary or wikipedia. By the time I enter my blanket I realize that satisfaction only last as long as another alien thought comes up. I left it to dreaming and wake up feeling a bit haunted from all the weird combination imageries. That, would be the better nights. Other times, I enter my blanket only to realize my alarm is about to go off in an hour. I sat on the couch and enter a lucid dream phase where I find myself either tidying room half consciously or staring into the back of my eyelids. Alarm sound is harsh. Some cheap instant coffee and it begins the cycle of another sleepy day.

What if a technique was available that enabled one to insert a set of images/clips/visual cues into a machine - it processes the moods and colors and themes - ultimately dispensing a small, clear pill you would take before going to sleep, which releases a nanobot payload that quickly navigates your bloodstream and floods your brain with a perfectly fine-tuned (yet original) dream concept that would contain an intuitive and “understanding” blend of the data you fed the machine. Dream duration (5 min to 7½ hours) and personal data (preferences, experience, toggle sleep apnea alarm) is set either via the external holographic keypad, or the startup terminal.

Realizing the idea would only take getting a bio-engineer, a physics professor, a basement chemist w/o morals, a neurosurgeon w/o medical ethics, a genious programmer, couple of Intel people and the 2 Davids (Cronenberg and Lynch) together on this.

I’m thinking it shouldn’t take more than 2-3 weeks, tops. The Kickstarter will be up and collecting soon - every backer will get a commemorative pill from the first safe batch, pledges over 1000 bucks will also get one with original content from the Davids + firmware upgrades to enable upcoming features such as “Nightmare OptOut” and “Lucid Dream modular support” (both will require DirectX 70)

Myanmar

While the Buddha dreamt peacefully and awoke with clarity, Descartes concludes his first meditation dreading that he’ll awaken from the dream.

For Descartes, the toilsome wakefulness which follows from a peaceful rest is accompanied not by the light of clarity, but by shadows of even larger philosophical uncertainties looming over him.

quarantine dreams ain’t hittin right

Recall back around 4th or 5th grade getting a Precious Moments bible from a family member who was a Southern minister, n me grams lending me Stephen Kings ‘It’ since I loved, & still love reading. In her defense, she never actually read the book.

Switched back n forth reading them. When 'It’ got too scary would switch to the Bible hoping it was less so, and it was totally boringly, zen during those many begets, until the stories sometimes seemed more horrifying than Kings.

Oh the interesting ways my brain made sense of all that! Such vivid, memorable dreams, night wanderings (or oft was so told) n feelings, n experiences!

Not sure if having a night-light made it better or worse?

Lying on your stomach, only able to open your eyes n look around. Feeling this weird buzzy, vibration in your noggin, n then you notice the sensations of being grabbed by the ankles, and slowly dragged towards the end of your bed, and you can just lie there, heart thumping, wondering what’ll happen when you reach the end. N what does the thing that’s holding you looks like?

Or feeling helpless whilst feeling like you’re being lifted up in the air, and then feeling yourself crash back onto the bed.

Trying to escape a dream by sitting up and feeling arms grab you from behind and pull you back into it, and then you actually sit up in a panic finally wide awake n realizing it was a dream in a dream.

The creepy whispering n occasional words heard.

Feeling the scream trapped in your throat n remembering the dream that caused it.

Scaring the crap outta yourself cuz you woke yourself up with your own screams, but the dream is gone.

Dream control therapy classes would’ve been nice to take as a younger human. Would’ve been like the dream master from earlier on.

At least now in the older years learned some skills to avoid, get out of, or to change the course of a dream.

It’s strange the things that stick in your mind, no matter how long the passing of time.

My dreams have been everything from repetitive, vivid n blurry, nightmares or night delights, sleep walking, day or lucid dreaming, even a combination of things….

Recall in a dream having to close my ‘dream eyes’ so I could squint thru to read the words in the dream book. So very hard n frustrating to do!

Yet, what really are dreams? Just head noodle nonsense, your brains way of organizing?, enlightenment? blips?

Some humans sadly (luckily?) don’t even recall their nightly wanderings! So, then do dreams really mean nothing?

So far, dreams have been everything from amazing, to horrifying, confusing, predictive, n making me feel so many conflicting n confusing emotions, n even caused me to doubt reality, cuz sometimes the dreams are so real, they’ve been confused with memory at times, n so many feelings of deja vu.

I can still recall the recurring nightmares that took my grandparents away from me. Over, and over again….

Being trapped inside my own body watching or even experiencing horrid things happening around or to me that I couldn’t control. People have told me about conversations, n things I’ve done, all when I thought I was asleep, n oft have no memory of happening.

Rarely, had some recollection of what happened during a 'sleep-walking episode’, but if remembered, it always felt/feels surreal, or even hyper real, if that makes sense?

Growing up n being advised by a religious family member, I thought I was tainted. Vile. Evil. The thing to be avoided. Cuz you know Wilson Phillips is the devil’s music n no one has ever heard of sleep paralysis!

Tho, even the horrors of dreams are worth it, methinks. When one can rewind a dream to make it better, yet stay fully in the dream, or to spend time making new memories with those long lost, sitting up laughing from a happy dream that’s already faded from your mind, but the overall feeling left from the dream n the belly laugh pain is real n comforting….

The rare, but wonderful feeling of being one with everything, n wondering if you ever actually sleep n 'shut down’ or, the experience of connecting with that 'one’ feeling is so overwhelming, it causes a forgetfulness akin to a drunkards blackout?…
