i’m dying watching their post video chat GOD i missed like WDTGG and just seeing them talk!!
but also they said the album title is the words on the cake - pretty shitty time. will be released in 2022!! “more of a performance, relaxed record, doesn’t have to be perfect.” another song of theirs will be in the rowan / auli'i movie crush on hulu tomorrow!! a heartbreaking ballad.
i just now watched the video bc i was working but it was so FUN and why am i actually emotional that they got matching tattoos lol. i think bc i want to one day with my sister!!
also the bit with the actor twins was so cute. now i wanna go watch every one of their music videos in order bc i rewatch things like carpool confessional or live banter a lot but not the music videos as much
immediately i f****g LOOOOVE the song omg. as a charli / sophie girlie i was like oh we’re doing hyper pop??!! i still would have probably liked it if the whole song was the style of the first lines but i love that you can really hear their voices later and it gets melodic even while being wild.
obviously we’ve hardly been starved for content but it hit me this is their first truly new, not a remake, not an xmas song (to be clear a great song but it’s different), not a feature since 2019 - i’m simply going to lose it when we get a full album and tour
