When Bumblebee gets chronically understimulated he starts to have a hard time functioning which makes it harder for him to feel emotions, hence him being hyper, everything at every second keeps him feeling alive.
Continuing off stoner Bee, that dude’s room is a temple of comfort. There’s dim lighting, it’s quiet and the radio plays old hippie songs from the 70’s, he’s got an interesting paint job but he’s so chill no one says shit. He got hooked after the academy made him so anxious he started basically on Cybertronian weed, which he gets from Ratchet, an elder stoner who enables the behavior for a lot of reasons. Mainly because Bee’s anxiety meds are out of reach at the moment and it’s all he has to get through the day but it gives them all peace of mind.
